Ostomy Barrier Ring, 2" (50mm), Box of 10, by MPM Medical

I change my husbands ileostomy bag and we tried a variety of barrier rings. This one is stickier than all the others I've tried and snaps back into shape which is helpful if you stretched it larger than you meant to. It seems to last longer than the others and is a bit thicker. I do have to take off my gloves at this point because it will stick to the gloves. I usually have to use an adhesive remover on my fingers after but my husband experiences fewer leaks with this ring.

This product is a waste of money. The rings do not stretch. Once stretched the ring springs back to original shape. I followed directions on box by stretching and holding in plac e for a few seconds. It sprung right back to original size. I had to cut the inside hole larger in order to use. It also did not adhere and leaked. Necessitated daily changing of appliance due to leakage. Adding heat did not help with adhesion to skin. I am not new to Ostomy products, it has been five years now. I thought I would try the product, always looking for a better product. This is not a good product!!!!

These are absolutely the best rings I have found on the market. They stick nicely with skin prep and are easy to remove.

Not pliable like other brands not easy to pull apart to use in a repair situation.

This product is terrible it doesn’t stick to the skin well and after a couple days it comes out of the wafer hole, you can’t adjust it to the size you need it goes back to the original form I’ll never buy again

Extra sticky and stretchy. This product is larger and has more tact than the Hollister branded barrier rings. Good value for the money.

These are terrible. I needed some because it’s not yet time for a refill. But these are horrible. They are hard , very tough, not that stretchable. I don’t think they melt very well, I keep having leaks with these. I would say you get what you pay for but these were more expensive than what I pay regularly. If I ever had to buy rings for emergency again, I would take my chances on another brand.

I don't know if Ostomy Barrier Ring, 2" (50mm), Box of 10 are too thick or too old. I don't know, but whatever they are, I have had problems with leaking ever since I started using them, so I had to stop. I used them like I've used other ostomy barrier rings, but to no effect. Perhaps they work for other people, but they have not been a good fit for me.
