Great Product but Amazon's Delivery Service is Not
This product itself is very nice. It has a powerful and relatively quiet exhaust fan. It has both a turntable and a shelf that allows one to cook several things at once. This microwave is very quiet. It cooks evenly and quickly. It has lots of sensor settings. It has excellent fit and finish. It also matches up well with our black Frigidaire range, which is about 5 years old. (the manufacture date on this MW oven is mid 2017). I don't like that it is made in China.Amazon's delivery service needs to improve. While we got it quickly, I had to go to the post office (12 miles away) to pick it up. But we live in a rural area where Amazon relies on the Postal Service for home package delivery. This should have been home delivered by a truck. It weighs about 70 pounds. It had to be moved around using a cart in the post office. Its label says two people are needed to pick it up! Why wasn't this delivered off a truck directly to my house? Why wasn't I even offered truck home delivery? I am a prime member and this makes me wonder if its worth it.Once again I was reminded me why I do not like installing over the range microwaves. It just isn't easy, and all the brands seem to use basically the same awful procedure: Line up a paper pattern, drill lots of holes in the wall and cabinet, install rack on rear wall, drop screws thru top cabinet, connect electricity. Lift and hang, connect to vent. Tighten screws in cabinet. Why it is hard to do: The rear wall rack and holes in cabinet have to be perfectly level and aligned, without error, so the thing hangs straight. To do this you get 2 big sheets of diagramed paper that you tape to the wall and cabinet to use as a pattern for all the holes you are going to cut and drill. But the diagram has to be hand trimmed to fit the cabinet, which is never perfectly aligned. You end up checking and rechecking measurements. The paper moves too easily, the tape never sticks. As a result I drilled the holes in the bottom of the cabinet about an inch from where they should have been. I had to re-drill. And it didn't help that one of the included toggle bolts (for the rack on the rear wall) came apart and had to be reassembled. The microwave came with everything I needed so it could be properly installed. Installation instructions and user manual are both printed on office quality paper, unlike the manuals from other recently purchased appliances, which were either available only on-line, or printed on cheap low grade, thin and easily torn paper.

Got a Frigidaire by mistake but I’ Happy I did
I wanted to match our refrigerator and range that are black stainless with a new OTR microwave. The OTR microwave I was replacing was a stainless steel Frigidaire. I planned to replace it with a Whirlpool but spaced out and ordered the Frigidaire. I noticed my error when it came time to replace the old one. I could’ve exchanged it, but it looked fine even though it was a different brand. I’m happy I kept it, as it works great, and the second shelf inside is great for when you want to nuke more than one thing. I don’t know if I would’ve been happier with a Whirlpool instead, but I can safely say that the Frigidaire is a fine addition to our kitchen!

Inspect thoroughly before installation
I love the look, the easy in installing and every OTHER thing about this microwave but the door is set low which causes problems when closing and i'm certain that over time, it will cause problems with the switches. that's the same problem I had with my 1 year old Frigidaire microwave. the monitor switch kept blowing because of the connection. The delivery was terrible as well. When I received it, the box was torn to a point where instead of being able to pick the box up by hand, i had to wheel it in for fear of it falling apart totally and the microwave being damaged but to my surprise, it was already messed up. Very disappointing experience and from what i've read, i'm not the only one. maybe looking for a different brand when it's time to totally upgrade my kitchen.

Great value. Handsome microwave
A little heavy but easy to install. Only issue not the sellers fault but the manufacturers is the box that it comes in doesn't protect the microwave very well. 3rd time the charm for me. This company actually sent me one that wasn't damage.

Fan's a little weak, but that's my only complaint
This is a nice, solid, few frills microwave. My favorite thing is that this microwave has Quick Start buttons just like my the old Kitchen Aid this is replacing, but on the Kitchen Aid the Quick Cook buttons were limited to 1-5, here the Quick Cook buttons are 1-9! I love that because after nearly 40 years of living with a microwave, I don't need a sensor to figure out how long I need to reheat this or cook that, I already know. (1:30 min. for a cup of coffee, 4 min power level 7 for a bowl of soup). The LED lights are a nice and the perfect brightness and color for a kitchen "night light." They're also nice and bright inside the microwave, though the mesh shielding on the door window makes seeing inside a bit more difficult than I'm used to, but it's not a big deal to me. Like I said, I know my times well enough not to need to watch things.Installation wasn't difficult at all. It comes with well written instructions and templates for getting everything attached right. It took me about 2 hrs to remove my old microwave and have this one installed, connected to the vent ducting, and working, and that's with me working carefully and taking breaks. Some folks have complained about having difficulty opening the door and how loud and long the beep is and I can see why they would say that, but I don't have a problem here. Yes, the door does require a bit more oomph to pull open than I'm used to, but nothing outrageous for any healthy person over the age of 8. And the beep is long and loud and doesn't stop but what of it? I'm either in the kitchen waiting for the microwave to finish, in which case I'm usually pulling the door open before the first beep even finishes, or I'm elsewhere in the house and am glad I can hear it and it won't let me forget that my food/coffee is ready. This is a just a matter of preference and it's fine by my reckoning. My only complaint was with the fan just not having being as strong as I had expected seeing as it was rated "Very Good" on Consumer Reports---maybe it's on me and the vent to the outside? It does draw, but can't quite keep up with a pot of boiling water beneath it on the stove. It is a small nuisance, but given all the pluses of this model, it's certainly no deal breaker.Frigidaire has an excellent reputation for reliability by Consumer Reports, which ultimately was what sold me on this model. My old Kitchen Aid gave me about 20 years of service, I expect this Frigidaire might outlast that.
