Neutrogena Shine Control Powder Invisible 10, 0.37 Ounce

This stuff is amazing, although I wish it was a little less expensive, it's definitely worth the money. As a Dark Skinned African American woman with mostly oily skin, it's hard to find a powder that won't make you look like a ghost in photos or in person, but this stuff works well. The key is moderation, of course. I would recommend using a puff to apply this, not the applicator included, as it is on the thin side. Also, give the powder time to set on your face before taking photos or going out...it will adjust accordingly and not look so powdery after about 5-10 minutes.

Perfect for anyone with combo or oily skin. I have combo skin so the t-zone gets especially oily and shiny as the day goes on. I usually initially apply this over foundation and concealer to absorb the shine, and then dab once in a while afterwards to touch up. When my mom used this, she complained that the powder was visible, but that has never been the case for me. The powder looks whitish but goes on transparent if used correctly. I would recommend starting with less and layering on more as needed to prevent an excessive buildup of powder, since I'm fairly certain that would be what causes the powder to be visible.

Overall great product that wants to amplify its look. Kudos to Neutrogena for its health-conscious skin line. I've been rocking for a minute.

I have used this product for over five years. I typically have very oily skin, definitely helps to control the shine. I use it every day.

Love this powder, but had to do four stars because the compact is very fragile; that being said, it will randomly crumble after some time/usage.

I wish I could give this a negative review. This product has been DESTROYING my skin for months. Because it’s advertised that it won’t clog pores, I didn’t realize that this is what was causing crippling cystic acne. I used it for 8 months. During that time, my acne was so severe, I thought it was a hormonal change (I’m 37), or an allergy. It was so bad I began a differin regimen and cut out all sugar and dairy. I tried all sorts of toners, cleansers and treatments. Turns out all I had to do for clearer skin was just to stop using this HORRIBLE PRODUCT. My skin cleared right up. I use Neutrogena Skinclearing powder and have no problems with that product. I also use a Neutrogena skinclearing blemish concealer without problems. Currently looking for new powder and concealer though, as I’m so upset about my terrible experience with shine control powder from this company and their false advertising. I’ve also had adverse reactions from the grapefruit moisturizer for acne and the moisture for sensitive skin. These products contributed to my cystic acne problems. I was wrong in taking Neutrogena’s word for it that their products are non-comedogenic And beneficial.

I like it so much feels so light…

It has no color, just blends over your foundation, stopping all the shine. I tried other powders and they seem to settle in my pores and are visible. Ugly! This does not do that. Highly recommend!

Great product. Really does control shine. I have oily skin and this Neutrogena Shine Control Powder keeps my face shine free for many hours. Goes on light, sheer and is translucent. No signs at all of wearing powder. This is best applied with a brush and not the puff provided. Well worth the $$.

Gave me a breakout after one days use and the shine returned within a couple of hours. Won't be using this again.

Goes on nicely, looks invisible. Good value for the money.
