Excellent.... my feet have been wanting these....
These are not for slip on boots or shoes. Tried that. Doesn't work. Boot is too tight. Will update this when I buy a pair of lace up work boots tomorrow. I can tell, they feel great. Just what I need. I developed a spot on the outside edge of my foot. It is calloused. It causes severe pain. Especially when driving. Not much pressure. I drive at work. Included pictures. Love how these molded around that. The best part is that I can remold these if I get rid of that spot. I'm a person who always depended on strengthening my feet. Any problem could be solved. Have run three marathons in my life. I had a bad accident, two years ago. My spine twisted. Bad at the bottom of the spine. Caused severe pain in lower back and legs. I've rested so much. My feet are going bad. Also listened to a chiropractor who wanted me to wear inserts. They weren't wide enough. That's how I developed that spot on the outside of my foot. Foot hung over the insert. I've also gotten to where I'm getting pain in the arch. Others, to deal with like metatarsal extension. So I had to do something. I decided to try these. Initial impression is I'm glad I did. I have been digging with my heel to stop pain in my feet. These are giving my heel that position. I have rather flat feet. Will work into these with precaution. Develop my feet for them. They feel like my feet have been begging for them. Other things that work good for me. Have a pair of small arch support pads for barefoot in the house. Five Fingers work out pretty darn good. Except with the arch pain creeping up now. Negative heel shoes work out well. I also have started working with magnesium. A book on amazon about it. Have already begun making good progress with magnesium. Am soaking my feet in epsom salt right now. These inserts are mainly for my work boots. I spend alot of time in those boots. EDIT: I did get the new work boots today. Geesh... $186 for a good pair of Irish Setters. They work good with or without the Orthotics. I do need to work a little on that one spot in the Orthotics. After a while I'll touch there. Also fear molding it too much will result in it breaking. So my plan is to work back and forth. I wore those same shoes in my picture to the store. Ended up wearing the Orthotics in them when I left. So my rule of not working in slip on is limited to stronger shoes/boots. I'm really liking these Orthotics. Never had any before. Didn't want them. They're wonderful. I find myself standing on my heels. Standing straighter. A good roll to stepping now. Am very glad I bought these. Didn't have any pain driving home from the store. May seem stupid that is amongst my worst pain. But for me it's true. Feet just sitting there. Loving these. I need to face the fact that amongst other problems. I'm facing Plantar Fascitis. At least now, I can get out and work my feet/legs. Rehabilitate them. Get stronger again.

Ordering second pair for home since so effective for work, with heel spur, and plantar fascitis
So I just purchased this for work shoes...and found out after the 1-2 week try on period of adjustment, that of all the heel cushions (2 of them from Amazon - these heel cushions may be perfect for others with a less severe problem) and other flexible sole inserts - this was by far the best...but it took about 7 days to get adjusted to it, and just when I was about to give up hope on these, I suddenly realized that these decreased the pain waaaay more than all the other inserts. So now, I am ordering a 2nd pair, for home use. I had ordered a pair, followed the directions, and it is perfect for work. Once I realized that this helped my heel pain, I realized that the pain came back whenever I was schlepping about the house in the other inserts. I then realized,...I needed to get another pair for schlepping about the house shoes....and also realized, that a lot of people may not know about the incredible benefits of this orthotic. A number of years ago, I had gotten very expensive orthotics - that covered the whole feet - I had gotten them from the Podiatrist - but impossible to wear and walk in. I was very discouraged, and tossed those orthotics (despite podiatrist insisting I wear them and tried to adjust them - but to no avail - and said I would have to go to a different podiatrist if I wanted specialized orthotics as he only used these long orthotics with like a metal shaft in the sole of it). I then found instead other half inserts you can buy anywhere, and those worked better. But, this is 2017, and my foot pain is much worse and would not go away with those easily available everywhere heel inserts..so...I ordered these... This 3/4 size moldable insert - is magic!! and very low priced. This is magic if you have the severe heel problem as I do!!! I was just was diagnosed with heel spur, plantar flascitis - got a steroid injection in the heel bursa (did not help much yet), but I had ordered this Corefit self moldable custom shoe insert - the first pair - about 3 weeks ago, then per the directions, used it at home for an hour a day until I worked up to 3 hours, then I started to wear it at work, and now, I cannot imagine walking outside without these inserts. That is why I am ordering this second pair. My left foot is size 6, my right foot is size 6.5, and I got the corresponding shoe size insert size 7 - here on Amazon. Thank you for selling on Amazon!!!!!

I think the best benefit of these insoles is that you can shape ...
I have high arches and metatarsal pain. I have tried sooooo many different kinds of orthotics and was weary of spending so much money on products that really didn't help. I think the best benefit of these insoles is that you can shape them to your foot. They are easy and quick to mold. I do find that they lose the shape eventually and the support sags, but you can always re-shape them to what you need. This is great when both feet have different arch height needs. I find that if I place a smaller support or piece of foam underneath the middle of the orthotic, it will hold its shape longer. Either way, my pain lessened and they were well worth the price.

These Orthotics really helped me.
I would like to give a little background about my situation. I have plantar fasciitis in both feet. In addition, both of my feet have pronation and the arches tends to be lower than normal my feet are always sore. I've been to a doctor and surgeon and decided after hearing about surgical relief (if you can put up with several months of recovery), before trying surgery (upon his recommendation) I decided to go the route of seeing a foot center and having custom made inserts. The cost about $450, I found that they were able to give relief and they worked. These however were custom fitted to one style of shoe, the leather dress shoe that I wore for work, and I didn't want to haveto spend that for each styleof shoes. Being some what custom, I would not be able to use them on sneakers. So for many years I have been getting inserts from Amazon, and I have found a couple of different kinds that help with these type of soft shoe. Poking around on Amazon in the suggested items recently and ran across these. I did read the reviews and decided to give them a try. LET ME TELL YOU...they really work! When I first got them, I could not believe how hard these babies were! So I read the instructions, prepared a pot of boiling water, got a chair and prepared to start shaping them to my feet. I found this tip that worked for me: in forming them to your feet, paying special attention to the arches (important for PF sufferers), I used a small towel to wrap around my arch area, while they cooled. And resist squeezing them (this will cause the arch area to be too narrow and they will hurt). With the small towel still wrapped around the mould, put your foot down on the floor and put some pressure while it finishes cooling foot on them. This helps you get a better fit to your foot, took me a couple of tries, but the experimentation paid off. Then, let them cool, slip them in the sneakers and they feel like you are standing on a couple of bricksโฆOuch!. It then occurred to me that I need to slip the original insert over the Corefit insert and WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! It took a several tries to get them exactly the way I wanted, but now I can say that they are more comfortable as my other inserts. Because of the Corefit Orthotics insert, I can wear all my running shoes all day now. Then switch the orthotics to any shoe I need to wear, this is truly astonishing to me as I usually couldn't get this level of comfort from the other styles of orthotics. Now I put them on and don't take them off until the end of the day. My feet are more comfortable in my shoes and they seem to be much better when I am not using them. They may be helping to correct the FP condition, I certainly hope so!!!! So, I world humbly say thank you, Corefit for a product that has helped me get a great level of relief from the pain I have endured for so long...thank you.

Amazing for people with high arches!
Several years ago I purchase my first pair of these after I had to go to a podiatrist that said to me "wow! You have amazingly high arches"! Who knew?!?! Even before hearing that, I suffered from low back pain and had always used insoles in my tennis shoes. I used store-bought insoles because I'm on my feet "all day" at work and my feet felt tired and achy regardless of the shoes I wore. Store bought insoles helped a bit but never to the point of relief that I have now. I bought these thinking it's a little odd that you boil them but was in such pain, I was willing to try almost anything. Wow! What a difference they have made for me! I boil them for 5 minutes, and wearing a sock, I pull it out of the boiling hot water and using a dish towel I press it all over my foot to make it conform to MY foot. I leave them on the counter to dry and cool off overnight. The next morning they go back into my shoes and I'm ready to go again. After some time (about every 2 to 3 months maybe??) they will start to squeak. That's the signal that they are loosing the strength needed to support your weight and they need to be reboiled. I can't count how many times I've boiled them and they are holding just as strong as when I got them. I have had a few instances where I didn't have these insoles with me and had to do a lot of walking or standing. The pain was intense. From my knees to my low back. I had no idea how much having my arches supported would help my back but it's amazing to feel the difference! To me, the price seemed high for a pair of insoles, but at $15 - $20 for the store-bought kind, these will quickly pay for themselves, many times over. I even finally convinced my dad, the guy who I got my high arches from, to try a pair of these in his work shoes. At 79, he is on his feet all day (on concrete floors no less) at a big-box home improvement store and he loves them! Try them! You won't be disappointed!

Dream come true! Finally I can wear all my shoes again! Best orthopedic insoles Iโve ever tried!
If I could give this 100 stars I would. I was just about to give up and throw away most of my shoes. After a toe injury lead to severe arthritis between my big toe joint and foot I could no longer wear my Dr. Marten shoes or most of my shoes. Podiatrist told me I needed very expensive orthopedic insoles which my insurance would not cover. Or surgery. I bought about 30 different types of orthopedic insoles from Amazon and other websites and nothing really worked. And then I saw this listing. I liked the return policy so thought I would try. I actually ordered one size up because I noticed my arch seems to be pretty long. I did the hot water and molded it to my foot, waited a few minutes and put them in my shoes. I could not believe it, it was exactly the perfect support underneath my entire foot that I needed! They seem to work in all my shoes including slippers. Last night I wore my Dr. Martens for the first time in six months, pain free! It took all the pressure off my toe joint. The problem with the other orthopedic insoles is they felt like a lump under my foot. But these are so smooth and gradual and molded to your own foot, they are a dream come true for me. I just ordered a second pair, itโs pretty easy to switch them from shoe to shoe but I figure I might eventually get a bunch of them. The feeling reminds me of when I used to wear cowboy boots, they are hard but they cuddle my foot in exactly the right way. Iโm just so happy and so grateful to have found these. I need to tell my podiatrist about them, I canโt believe I was about to spend $300 or $400 on something that might not have even worked. Try these!

They look like they will last even longer than the prescription ones
These are very affordable orthotic inserts that are very similar to the prescription ones I got for $125 ten years ago. They look like they will last even longer than the prescription ones. The only issues I'm having is they are so much stiffer than the Rx ones, and even though I remolded one of them, they still are taking a while to get used to. And I had overlooked that they aren't advised for sandals, which is something I had hoped to use them with, but that's not a deal killer. Also, they need to come with step-by-step photo image instructions demonstrating how to make the mold from start to finish. They should make a short YouTube video for how to mold the things to your feet, too. Because I had to do it all by guessing and trial & error, it took me a few weeks before I finally decided to try it with no instructive images demonstrating the process. I had to redo one and it's still probably going to need to be redone again. The first time one of them I got the instep too high so my foot was aching while the other one was fine. What I like is they are very affordable and once I get it right I expect it will do exactly what a good orthotic insert should. What I don't like is it's a stiffer material (hard plastic) than I would have liked compared to the prescription one I had which was made of one layer of leather and another layer of supportive material that was like a synthetic rubbery, stiff leather substance that had some give and was very cozy to wear. I didn't even need a breaking-in phase for those like they always recommend. But for these Corefit orthotic inserts I'm definitely going to. Update: I don't know who voted this review as unhelpful nor do I know how anyone can be more descriptive or honest regarding the pros and cons of a product. If it helped you decide, please kindly give a positive vote and thank you. :-)

Big guy here. 6"4" 300 pounds. These are the only insoles that have worked for me.
Iv'e had plantar fasciitis, gout, one foot high arch, the other not so much. I have large wide feet at a size 14 wide. As I am getting older the foot issues get worse. I had 2 pairs of custom molded insoles I have been wearing for 2 years. They helped my feet slightly, I never did get PF again. But my legs, knees and hips constantly hurt. I just figured it was because I needed to get used to the new insoles. At least that is what I was told. And over time I just accepted the new pain as a daily thing I have to deal with. The pain never went away and even on long walks my feet would hurt more than I thought they should. Again, because I thought I had to get used to the insoles. Well, 2 years in and I'm not totally used to them so I tried these out. I had low expectations. But after reading other reviews and picking up some pro tips on how to mold these to your feet when they come out of the boiling water I was hopeful. I let them cool, then tried them out. I noticed an immediate difference. My feet just felt normal in a shoe for once in... I can't even remember. I have been wearing them everyday, averaging about 4-5 miles a day walking and everything is feeling so much better. I mean, it's night and day. My legs aren't hurting anymore, my knee is feeling stronger. And I can walk for a long time with no foot fatigue. It's so weird. So, yeah. I have only had these for a week now, but so far they are incredible. Totally worth a shot trying them out.

Finally something that works and is inexpensive
I've suffered from plantar fasciitis for about 3 years now which ended my military career. I have tried everything from rolling my feet on tennis balls or an iced bottle to over the counter orthotics like the superfeet green. Whilst the superfeet green were great at first, they only lasted 2 weeks and then the pain was back. I was definitely not going to be paying ยฃ30 every 2 weeks. Then I came across Corefit mouldable orthotics which has changed my life. I finally have my feet back. These were purchased in September and it is now November and they are still helping my feet. I have since climbed snowdon twice and hiked in the Peak District (roughly 18 miles). I can finally live my life doing what I love most - exploring every inch of the world. It feels amazing to be able to walk again in harsh environments without the chronic pain that comes with plantar fasciitis. I find that I have to re-mold every 2 weeks which takes about 10 minutes of my time and costs nothing. I would rather do this than pay a ridiculous amount every month for "foam" orthotics which are designed to lose their shape in a few weeks, forcing you to buy another pair every time. These have seriously changed my life and have impacted me in an extremely positive way. I would like to say thank you to Corefit and would recommend people to give this a go.

Best Orthotic for My Use
Years ago, I had switched from leather and foam orthotics that wear out over time and start to smell. My original ones were made by a nurse who worked in a nursing home and used thermo-plastic to mold to my foot for an exact fit. they were wonderful but eventually wore out and started to crack after 6-7 years of daily use. I needed a replacement as we no longer lived near her. After much searching found these ... and they are my new go to (I have 2 pairs at the moment). They are moldable, provide a very nice arch support (I have fallen arches), and appear to be very sturdy so will last a long time. follow the instructions for molding for best fit. I have been using for months now with no issues, and just like my previous thermo-plastic pairs don't even notice they are there --- which is what the orthotic is meant to do. Way cheaper than the customer orthotic process (molds, custom construction etc) and bet will last longer than any of them. Best alternative for me.

Great Decision!!
It took me nearly 6mths before I bought a pair. I've had problems with my left knee. After reading a lot about causes, I realized I walked funny. I had a high arch in the left foot and knock knees. Both feet weren't the same, so why buy orthotics which were designed the same for both feet? Hence my decision to buy a pair of Corefit orthotics. They were easier than I imagined to mold onto my feet and I felt an immediate change in my stance. They are comfortable and I just saved some big bucks from not having to pay for a podiatrist!!!
