Audiophile CMOY Headphone Amplifier USA Made with Parts-Newman's Tiger Tin

This is my first headphone amp, and I don't know exactly what I was expecting. Some people said it will just increase the volume, but others said it will not only help the volume, but the sound as well. I recently bought some Sennheiser 558's and while I enjoyed the sound of them I wanted something that would really make them shine without breaking the bank, but that I could also have portable and with me wherever I go. I stumbled upon this little tin box, simple, cute, unassuming, and the reviews were phenomenal for the most part. Anyways how does it sound? GREAT! Does it improve the quality of the listening experience? In my opinion yes, the sound is fuller. Would I recommend it? For the price go for it. There is no tracking on the shipping and it will arrive in just as an unassuming little cardboard box, but it was received in a timely manner with no damage so I can't knock a star off for that. Anyways if you get one, enjoy! I am. :)

This amplifier works perfectly. Do note that this does not come with a battery, and you will need to provide your own 9V for it.The build quality for this product is very professional and clean, and it gives a very minimal and easy to understand interior.

I love this amp! Best portable headphone amp for under 100 bucks in my opinion. If you have 100 dollars then buy two and some rechargeable 9v batteries and chargers for them. Remember that portable headphone amps often wear out quickly. These are great sounding for the money, and I hope they have a longer life than most others. Also buy this cable to go from source to amp--- CARDAS AUDIO HPI Audiophile Interconnect Cable Adapter Male 1/8” 3.5mm TRS Right Angle Mini-Plug, Length 6". ******* Well my amp lasted about 6 months of heavy daily use. I used it for a nightshift as a janitor, and then after work. So that's about 10 to 12 hours a day perhaps. The failure came from one of the 3.5mm input jacks. This is ALWAYS a problem on every portable amp I've owned. The most expensive amp being an Aune B1. I won't spend that kind of money on a true portable amp again that only has 3.5mm input jacks.

Works well... pretty cool little device.4 stars instead of 5 for the following reasons:Did not come with battery.Requires male to male audio cable or adaptor... didn't come with.Packaging- was packed into a box that was way too small for it.Product was in there diagonally with literally no room to spare and no bubble wrap nor protection.Any little bump or bang on the box during shipping would have dented the tin... mine was fine though.

Product was delivered in a timely manner. I bought them to drive a set of Iasus X-sound 3 helmet speakers (60 ohms) I purchased at the same time. This little amp drives them very well. Good clean sound with full range. Definitely recommended (amp and speakers).

Works great! Use it daily during commute to boost the volume on my Samsung S7 or Sony Digital Walkman. It's amazing to be able to hear music, videos and podcasts over the sounds of the train. Nice clear crisp sounds with no distortion.

I received my amp on time, properly wrapped and in great condition. I use it to drive AKG k240 Studio headphones (55 ohms) with a Sony Walkman as the music source. Because the Sony has two custom equalizer settings, there is no need for the bass boost offered by some companies. This amp from Lucid Labs, forces my AKGs to reveal their true potential and I am not simply talking about volume. I have found my music is fuller, bass is tighter and the highs are crisp and hidden instrument revealed. In short, it is as if a veil has been lifted.
