Casein is fabulous paint !
I love the Jack Richeson casein paint in tubes . The colors are rich and deep and dry to a luxurious mat surface . They are milk based and clean up is easy .

The primary red isn't very good
I like these colors, they're my first casein set and I love working with this medium! They also smell amazing, not like acrylics or oil. My only complaint is that I have to supplement the set with a watercolor red I have on hand because the red in this set isn't a true red. Its very cool and turns purple when you add black.

We enjoy painting with casein paint in that it is very different sort of a feel, similar to oil paint,but dries very fast,and becomes permanent with time.Cleans up with soap and water.
