Does the job, but pricey
I love Pyrex and I have tons of it, but the one weakness of their round and rectangular storage containers has been the lids. The standard and cheapest ones are ok in the fridge, but not tight enough for travel. I miss the gray lids that had an interior rubber seal and a vent opening, but those eventually get brittle and start cracking, and they are no longer made. Nice to find these lids, and they are very effective- even if they probably cost more than the original containers themselves.

worth the expense
I had regular replacement pyrex lids in my cart and then realized I would just have the same cracking and breaking in a year and more garbage, so I googled a glass version. These lids are perfectly what I was looking for. Silicone + glass feel durable + seal much better than original. Totally worth it as long-term replacement for the *crap-plastic* pyrex sells their glass dishes with. Plus prompt + attentive customer service when my package was delayed due to USPS misdelivery -- thanks!

Love the glass and silicone. So much better than the plastic covers, which warp in the microwave and become brittle from the dishwasher.

These are great
These seal great and are air tight. I wish they had them in the smaller sizes so i van replace all the crappy plastic ones. These are great because you can see all the food inside and the are dishwasher safe.
