Can't Go Wrong
Powerful and easy to use. The battery pack is a bit expensive, but is well worth it.

Good Stuff!
Wasn't sure what to expect... But I'll just say easily that this is a bonafide chainsaw that does it's job, does it well as any gas chainsaw I've had. I had a larger 5.0ah battery on hand and I cut up two trees approx. 8"-10" in diameter that fell after a recent storm. I quit before the battery did! Had to take a break and then went out and finished and the battery lasted throughout. About 1.5 hours combined running on one battery. Had to refill the chain oil 2x in that span. Biggest thing to remember with an electric tool is to allow the tool to do the work, not get on it like the gas driven chainsaw as it will big it down and kill battery quicker. Every cut was effortless. The chainsaw feels a little heavy with the larger battery, but nothing unusual.

Impressive so far
So I was worried, when i got it and opened it up it was clear it was a return(the previous person's delivery sticker + address was still on it and the box was taped up like you were returning something). So I still wanted to inspect it because maybe the person just opened it up didn't like what they saw and returned it without using it. So when i inspected everything it was clean, chain was good and sharpe and not used, oil reservoir was empty and there was not any sight of oil in there, and i removed the bar and took a look under it all clean. So I charged up the battery and to my amazement it cut as good as a gas one. Full disclosure I have a 20" Husqvarna which i love, this is heavier than the Husqvarna, but it does do a good job. So i will continue to test this out, but i am impressed with it so far.

Great value
Have cut up lots of fallen trees due to hurricane damage. Not just our property, but also for a couple neighbors. Has worked very dependably

Electric motor failure twice
I bought this saw in spring 2020 for light homeowner's use. I had just purchased a 60 volt craftsman weed eater and liked the idea of shared batteries. Initial disappointment when unboxing to discover the saw's 60 volt battery was completely different and incompatible with the weed eater's 60 volt battery. Both Craftsman products, both within 1 year of each other in production. The next disappointment was that within minutes of using this saw for the first time the electric motor literally smoked and burned up. I was able to return not for full price, but I could get a replacement at zero cost, so I opted for the replacement. I have used the second saw lightly and occasionally for approximately one year. It has now failed the motor in the same manner as the first. Craftsman products are supposed to last, dare I say a lifetime. This product is clearly flawed and should have never borne the Craftsman name. I hope this isn't indicative to where the entire Craftsman line is headed. So disappointed, out ~$300 and now shopping for a new saw only one year later.

Love it!
After using 16” and 20” gas powered saws, this is lightweight and so easy to use. No mixing, no pull start...just press start. I use it for yard work and I’m not about to be lumberjacking, for the small trees around my yard, it’s perfect. I have a weed whip that uses the same battery, so I can swap them out. It took about 3 hours to get it fully charged, and that was almost 2 months ago and I haven’t needed to charge it again yet, so I think it holds a decent charge.

Power and low noise
I love this Powerful chain saw no noise cut through hard wood like it going through butter i would recommend it to any one who need a great chain saw

Be precise with your cuts
Works great , instant power ! However you have to be precise with the cuts you make. The battery life isn’t that long and unfortunately additional battery’s are almost the cost of a new saw kit. Just remember when your using it , it’s not a gas saw so don’t just go cutting away carelessly
User
Great chainsaw, needs better batteries.
Cut through the wood like butter. I always hated trying to start my gas chainsaw. This battery chainsaw is so quiet when I use it at the front of the house. No more neighborhood complaints. Had to return a spare battery after one use. Batteries need improvement.
