Whink 1281 10OZ Rust/Stain Remover, 10 oz, 10 Ounce

This stain remover got out all of the rust stains that Iron Out couldn’t. I squeezed this on my rusty stain, let it sit overnight and woke up to the entire stain gone! Not even a hint of rust remained. So happy I found this product. It saved my pants! 😁

I'm not sure how this stuff works, but it DOES. Especially on lighter or white fabrics. Not only just on rust but all sorts of stains. From chocolate, makeup, new grease stains and food. It literally disappears almost instantly. For harder stains, I've let it sit a while and depending on the fabric it either all came out or almost completely. I've used it on shirts, jeans, curtains, shoes and shoe laces. Works well just make sure you follow directions.

Good rust remover Worked on my clothes with rusted snaps

I am a chemist. recently I was working with iron solution and some got on my shirt and dried up. the result: rust. I bought this rust remover to see what it could do and it works very well. the reason it works is it contains hydrofluoric acid which dissolves the rust quickly. what does this mean for you? first of all use gloves (if you use household gloves use two pairs at a time). acid burns are no joke. second, be careful where you use the rust remover. if you have a metal sink, avoid using it, as it will eat at the metal of the sink with the same zeal that it will remove the stain. use a porcelain sink or tub and make sure it doesn't touch your skin. This is not a soaking solution, you should see the stain come out before your eyes. when it does, immediately run the spot under large amounts of water (or risk the acid leaving you with a nice hole in your clothes). then put it in the laundry before you use it. an alternative method which is much safer is to use a milder acid like lime juice and have it soak into the fabric for an hour or so. it will take longer, but it is cheaper and safer.

The only thing that gets rust out of toilets and bathtubs from the well water.

I love this product. It works well on rust stains on clothes or any kind of cloth.

DO NOT USE FOR WATER SPOTS ON VEHICLE WINDOWS. Our used car had acid water spots on windows that would not come off with vinegar, steel wool, rubbing compound, Soft Scrub, Comet or even Acetone. A website advised this product, complete with a video. Looked great -- so we ordered this. Sure, it took off the spots, but it damaged the windows. To be clear: it advises against use on windows. So do not do so. Use Amaz paste instead -- it works great. Takes some elbow grease, but it's the best solution. This is a fine product, but be careful with it!
