However, at the end of the Bible, we learn how the story ends. It ends in amazement. Dr. Lake's book does not bring fear to your heart - it brings joy, hope, peace, and understanding. You will have to get this book. When I was recently asked, "Hey, I don't have time to read what you read. There is not way that I will ever have that kind of understanding or that kind of time to invest in learning. Give me the nuts and bolts! Tell me what I need to know!" I did - I gave them a copy of this book with all of my highlighter marks, notes, and summaries. This is the "go to standard" for end times prophecy. How does Nimrod have any impact on our lives today? Read it. How does conspiracy fit in with prophecy? Oh, I could go on and on and on but I want you to quit reading this and just GET this book. Do yourself a favor, get several copies to give your skeptical cousin for her birthday or your unbelieving brother. This book prosecutes the case that their is a God, who sits on the throne, and is acutely aware of the sinister plans that Satan and his little minions have for us -- but guess what? I read the end of the Book ( and the Shinar Directive). Jesus WINS! This is the GOLD STANDARD OF BIBLE PROPHECY!

It is the most well researched book I have ever read on this subject. For those show at to make sense of all that I happening around us. Read this book I also like the fact that it is balanced. I struggle with the teaching that is condemning Christians to cultural Judaism. I struggle with having to give up the name of Jesus Christ. The name through which I am saved, been delivered for demonic oppression and seen countless of miracles happen. Most authors on this subject take extreme positions. Micheal Lakes stance is balanced. He also gives us practical advice about surviving these end times. He has a way of summarizing what he has covered before moving to a new topic. I love that I hada hard time putting this book down. I've read the book by his wife. Also another must read.

Dr. Lake is am amazing and knowledgeable writer and this book is super. I have seen Dr. Lake several times on Skywatch TV and Prophecy in the News and have found him to be so interesting. His understanding of the scriptures is very in depth and I would highly recommend anything he writes. I am a prophecy and Bible studying buff plus love history. The thing about the Bible that makes is so amazing is that it is history but also His Story. WOW what more could a person want? I have been learning our (Christian) Hebrew Roots and also studying the Feasts of Israel so this book fit right in. The things that are happening in our world right now are fulfilling Bible Prophecy so fast it makes my head spin and the person of Nimrod and the results of Babylon and the tower of Babel are critical to understanding the evil of this age. All the "selfies" that people take should give us an idea of who is important and number 1 so not many are looking to the Bible for answers.

I got a lot of tidbits of information. However, it was a difficult read because I was not well versed on the historical background that was referenced in the book. I had to look up much of the demi gods, mythology, nephilim watchers etc. That was not a negative for me but it made it a slow tedious read. I plan on reading a 2nd and 3rd time to fully appreciate the content. If you r a person who may not have an extensive prophecy/conspiracy theory background be prepared to be challenged but I found it to be worth the read.

Great insight into the methods and means of the kingdom of darkness and how we as Christians need to prepare for spiritual warfare and anchoring ourselves in biblical truth.

This book is MUST reading to wake up sleeping Christians. It may not be pleasant reading for those who are complacent, but it will open your eyes to what is happening all around you whether or not you like it. You and your families are being affected by lies and deception that has been going on all around you since the Fall into sin of all mankind. Satan has duped the eyes of so many by using lies and covering up true history throughout all the years since Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. All people on earth have been and are being affected by blatant evil all around us in our everyday living unbeknownst to us. Truth is unveiled in this book to give you understanding of how and to stand against the tide of evil and to encourage you to stand against evil with Truth. This book will put life in true perspective and helps you understand how we all have been duped by evil, but it gives explicit help inspiring hope in the midst of our struggles against evil. If you have never understood how evil has duped you, this book will open your eyes to know IF you will dare to read it all the way through. Hope you do for your sake and the sake of all your loved ones.

So many great to the point reviews, I can only echo them, on what a timely important book this is. This is a must have for every Christian, this is a must have for a present to your Pastor. This needs to be given to your friends and family. You have the power to make it happen. Dr. Lake brought up a wonderful new point. 'The Hive mentality' we are running into everywhere. I was stunned when he put into words what I was thinking, but had no words for! It would literally take you years to research all the important aspects of this book he has brought together. He used Tom Horn's publishing company, which makes it easy to hold, easy on the eyes, and wonderful artwork covers. Make sure you get everything Tom Horn has written, so you are not left in the dark also.

After reading the overview series via the Raiders News Network pertaining Dr. Lake's book, I could not wait to get my hands on a copy. His work exceeded my expectations, and I finished it in a week. As a Christ-follower, and avid Bible reader, for the past few years I had unanswered questions formulated in my mind via scripture and needed closure and a way to connect the historical and prophessorial dots. Most of those unknowns were expertly addressed in The Shinar Directive, and it helped me tremendously to fill in the missing, and sometimes hidden, pieces of the scriptural puzzle. I am now better equipped to enter into discussions with fellow believers, and also non-believers, in preparation for world events and where they originated from. Dr. Lake's work is truly amazing, his faith in the Lord solid and his research quite impressive. The Shinar Directive is a must read for any true Christian who wants to also do a self-analysis of the spiritual path they are currently traveling, and to arm themselves against the action plan of Satan.

Awesome, cannot recommend this book high enough, if you only ever read 1 more book in your life, make it this one. I bought the Kindle version, have also purchased the hard copy to share.

Once again the author, Dr. Michael Lake has submitted a very sobering and insightful book on a subject that, I believe, needs to be explored and then researched by anyone who is willing to take a serious, non biased look at what is going on, behind the scenes, in our world. The statements and arguments are based upon years of research. And, as with the other book, anyone willing to take the time to investigate the sources and documentation will have their eyes opened to a strategy and plan that is beyond the natural or physical realm. Definitely, a must read!
