Become a Better You: 7 Keys to Improving Your Life Every Day

I originally purchased this book for myself and have been reading it over a period of time. I sent it to a relative for a gift hoping that he would read it as well. I have other family members who also find positive hope and peace in their lives by following the messages from Joel Osteen. There are a lot of good points in this book on working on yourself rather than being negative and taking it out on others. The Daily Readings that go with this book are also inspirational, thoughtful and promote a daily interaction with God through reading the Bible. I recommend this book highly for bringing out the best in yourself and bringing some peace to your daily existence. I recommend the companion the Daily Readings as well. Thanks again, Joel for a great book that shines a light on how we can all become better people.

I have to agree with whomever said Joel Osteen is the Voice of Hope - his book is so positive, encouraging, and uplifting. The material is completely relevant, timely and empowering!! I encourage everyone to read this book or listen to this audio book. It should be required reading for all humans of all ages! :-) Joel's words literally reach right out to you and make you really think and realize that you can overcome anything negative and achieve anything if you just have faith in God and in yourself and your ability to change your habits and ways of thinking, forgive yourself and others, grow as a person, and become what you've always dreamed - the best You that you can possibly be! Do it for yourself. Do it for your family. It will help you improve your life in every aspect - home, relationships, work, friendships, and in your spiritual life. I am giving this one star, not because of the the content, but because this book is no bigger than the size of my palm. The size is meant to take it with you and keep it with you for on the go inspiration. This book is so small it is not worth the price either! When the say " miniature" I would have never thought it would be that small!

If you are ready for change and willing to change your life with these helpful resources then it's a worth while book to buy. All his books are worth buying. I have pretty much all his books and bible and they have helped change the way I view and approach things in my life. His words have been a life changer for me. Again these are good resources but in order for you to understand what he is trying to say you have to be ready and open to change otherwise it will be a good read only and a great resource to go back to when needed as well.

I have read a couple of books now by Joel Osteen and I have to say that his approach at reaching out to people in an effort to help them "find" Christ is the correct approach in my oppinion. Joel focuses on the good rather than the evil and teaches people that they really are good in God's eyes and need to think positively about themselves as God thinks positively of them as well. Rather than beating people down with the judgment of God, Joel brings people up with the love of God. And that's how you do it. A very good book, indeed!!

I have been reading small sections of it since i received it. This was my first time ordering online. So I didnt know it was a miniature version, but found that it just big enough to fit in my pusre and carry with me every where. The book is awesome. It really is pack with great information quick and to the point on the steps you need to take to change your life, way of thinking, way of handling circumstances and everyday situations in your life. Whether it b a relationship with God, family, friends, co workers, neighbors, or just improving youself. Im very pleased with it. And will pass it on to someone when im finished. What a great book to read for life changing, simple hints. His writing is easy to follow, does not bury you in scriptures, and gently shows you how you are derailing your own life and how to fix it. I've owned the book for ages but for some reason didn't read it right away. Our family is in the middle of a crisis and perhaps that is the reason I picked it up; what a glorious difference it's made in our lives. The crisis still remains but we are treating it and each other so much better. Thanks Joel!

When I read the review on J.O's book, it appeared to be what I was looking for. I have one of his other books, "It's Your Time", and I was interested in getting another one to read. They are very inspiring. No where in the product review did I see that this book was going to be a mini book. I was expecting a normal standard book. I was not happy with this. One advantage, it won't take up much space, but disadvantage, I have a hard time holding small objects, and this makes it a bit harder, when I was not expecting this. If I knew it was going to be a mini book, I would have not ordered this. Maybe I overlooked 'the mini-book' part, if I did, it was my mistake. If I didn't, the description should have had that in there.

Wonderful little book, fits it a purse/pocket. Messages are inspirational, will give your life a lift when you need it.

The author is a blessing that GOD has shaped to speak to His people! Joel Osteen is blessed with this unique ability of really making you feel how GOD is so close to your heart even HE is still the GOD whose glory goes far beyond heaven and earth.

Expected the book to be as normal as any other book,but to my surprise i received a pocket sized book which was quite dissatisfying,However, the ,message on the inside was worth it.
