Moen 2510 Monticello PosiTemp Pressure Balancing Shower Valve, 1/2-Inch IPS (Renewed)

I've always trusted Moen products, and this Posi-Temp pressure balancing valve is another excellent example of their quality. The valve is made from solid brass, feels extremely well built, and inspires confidence that it will last for many years without leaks or problems. Installation was straightforward, the connections were precise, and everything fit exactly as expected. Once installed, the valve provides smooth handle operation and maintains a consistent water temperature, even when other fixtures in the house are being used. That pressure-balancing feature is a great safety benefit, especially for families with children or elderly household members. Moen's reputation for reliability, excellent engineering, and readily available replacement parts makes this an easy choice for any bathroom renovation or new installation. It's a professional-quality product that's worth every penny, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable shower valve that will provide years of trouble-free service.

good replacement part - no problems installing

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve used Moen products for years, and this valve continues that reputation for quality. The construction feels solid and durable, and installation went smoothly without any surprises. Once installed, the temperature control was consistent and responsive. It’s one of those components you hope you never have to think about again because it simply works. Great product and well worth the investment.

Perfect replacement part. Moen quality never disappoints.

I don't know if I screwed up, but the hot water comes on first when you turn it on. According to the hot/cold indicators on the trim, it's correct. So you have to go through the hot to get the cold. Probably not a big deal, since no one I know takes cold showers or baths. I didn't use the temp limiter, but the hot doesn't seem very hot. I need to check the water heater before I can blame the valve. I don't mind paying a bit more for decent quality, but Moen's price is a bit much. No surprise there. Better than risking a cheap shower valve inside a wall. Brass is nicely finished, as are the pipe threads.

It’s an original Moen much cheaper than a Plumbing Supply house, works great

Great product. I replaced the cartridge in my daughter's bathroom and loved how easy it was. When my faucet started leaking, I knew what I was going to replace it with. These are THE valves to have.
