It is an awesome hat. People are complimenting the good looks. Quality is also very good. Hat is withstanding strong winds.Only negative was the shipping charges outside US. I had to pay almost same price of the hat to ship outside US.Packaging: The hat came in a card board box from Amazon through Aramex. It was almost broken. I was afraid that hat was damaged. I REALLY wanted to like this hat. It's a beautiful color, looks nice, appears to block the sun well, and squishes well for packing. Unfortunately, it keeps sliding down my head. This is a typical case of a company trying to make a one size fits all that ends up failing. I bought the M/L size. Even when I adjust the adjustable band to be slightly uncomfortably tight, I still find the hat sliding down my head (i.e. over my ears and eyebrows) when I take 20 or 30 steps. Because the hat and adjustable band are elastic, they just expand and then slide. A typical hat has enough structure in the top so that when it hits the top of your head, it stays there. But this hat has a weak structure--presumably to allow it to fold--that cause it to flex and straighten out. That may not make sense. Regardless, I don't understand why this wasn't noticed within 5 seconds of producing the first one. Perhaps this is why it's so hard to find a packable Panama hat.

Hubby loved it and said, “this is bar far the best beach/ pool hat. I can’t believe I’ve only worn caps all these years.” Provides sun protection to not only face, but neck, head & ears. Doesn’t make you sweat. Travels well.

I truly wanted a real toquilla straw panama fedora but, since I would wear it mostly while traveling by airplane, I decided to give this a try first. I couldn't see crushing a $300 hat and hoping for the best. The brim does not snap up on this, but it isn't overly floppy either. Soft, but decently structured. This hat is obviously not a true panama, but it looks quite presentable and is very comfortable. Hoping it lasts awhile, but my first impression is that it is a solid value and a nice item.

I ordered a medium size and I received a Medium large size and hauling that adjustment band all the way still slides down your head on top of having the tail of the adjustment band looking like you have a tail hanging out of your hat very bad design

This hat was nearly the same hat, but came as a Columbia PFG, instead of a Wallaroo. Very nice, but not the same hat as advertised. Maybe Columbia makes it for Wallaroo, as it was the same, except band was light green instead of brown. Nice quality.

This hat far exceeded my expectations. It is very attractive. It is the most comfortable hat I have ever owned. It keeps it shape well.

First of all, it's pretty with a nice pleasant beige color and it's a stylish fedora.And fortunately, the Large size fits perfectly my 24" (7 5/8 XL) head.And it really is foldable. It recovers perfectly from the soft taco fold.The only caution is to not put a crease in it by folding it.

Excellent service and product - in every way

This hat is exactly what we expected and is described. It is dapper, light weight, foldable and great material. I gave it to my dad for his birthday and my husband liked it so much I had to order another one. Heck, I may even look for a ladies style for me! Arrived much earlier than expected as well. Very pleased.
