Q: Is this an actual Parker pen? I've seen many reviews online stating that this pen is just a cheap copy of the actual one.

I am 81 yrs old and have previously owned Parker "T BALL jotters". I recently lost one that I have had for 15 years and replaced it with this one. The only difference is this one is a retractable and my old one was a twist. It is every bit as good as my older one in quality and performance.

Just like anything else there will always be a cheaper copy. The packaging is a good indication of contents. Parker pens used to have a life time warranty, they now have a two year warranty.

Q: Where is this pen manufactured? I've read reviews that the pens made in France are superior.

To the best of my knowledge they were made in England and are now made in France. The refills are made in France and India. They used to be a "twist" pen but now are a "click" pen. With the twist pen a person needed both hands to ready the pen, now with the click it can be activated with one hand. I lost my original pen that was a twist pen. When purchasing a new one, it is a click pen and I like it better. I prefer a "fine" type point, but that is an individual choice. I also have a Cross Set but my preferred choice is the PARKER.
