I Am a Big Brother (Caroline Jayne Church)

I purchased this book for a friend who is expecting her second baby. She has a little boy and is now having a little girl, and this book is absolutely adorable! I originally purchased " I am a bis sister" a while back when my own daughter was promoted to big sister, and she still loves reading it with me. Big Brother and Big Sister version, and they are equally adorable! I love that you can choose the one that fits your family. Such a sweet book for helping little ones feel special and excited about their new role.

Cute book for introducing becoming a big bro.

Sent as a gift to a close family about to have their 2nd baby. Received a text back this was perfect they had been trying to find ways to explain and their first baby understand. They enjoyed reading as a family

My almost two year old grandson loves this book and wants to read it a lot. He is a busy guy and not always interested in books so this is a big win. A great introduction to him getting a baby sister soon. Def recommend.

Very sweet. Our 20 month old has been asking us to read it most nights for the last few months. It is the sweetest of the big brother books we have found for him. Text is very easy to understand and is relatable for a young toddler. The images are sweet and show the big brother doing simple helpful tasks that introduce concepts like being quiet for the baby’s nap, and what a loving family of four looks like, giving a group hug. This is a great introduction to being a big brother for younger toddlers. It is also sturdy. While not a board book, the pages are sturdy like laminated card stock. I am not afraid of it ripping with our rough housing toddler.

I loved having this sweet book for my two year old son as he learned what it meant to be a big brother. He quotes it regularly. It's simple and easy to understand, and moves quickly. My only complaint is that the pages are not very durable - they're a thicker paper (which is nice), but there are visible stitches for the binding and it tears fairly easily. We loved the book so much though that we got a second one when the first on lost a page.

My toddler love it! It helps him understand what's going to happen soon!
