Love Love My Frogg Togg. These towels are a magical miracle! I still can't figure out how they keep you cool while damp without getting your neck and hairline wet. So I was working outside daily when our Temps were 90°-101° and my neck fan wasn't getting the Job done so I ordered this Frogg Togg Towel and I couldn't believe how large it was and how cheap it was for its size. But I immediately got it Ready for use and it worked so well, immediately cooled my neck, face. It's Soft too. It comes in a reusable plastic container so when you're not using it you'll store it inside the tube. Overall it deserves 1000 Stars.

It really works! It's made of a special material that stays cooler than the ambient temperature when it's wet, so it's better than just using a regular towel. I ordered this because it's been so hot it was making me angry all the time and I needed a solution. I still wanted to go outside to get my steps and it's also hot all day in the house. This Chilly Pad really helps me feel cooler and more comfortable where I'm not overheating and sweating 24/7. It does get hard and crunchy when it dries, which is why it's shipped slightly damp in sealed plastic. I would sanitize it and store it a little damp in a zip loc probably. It really works and is an inexpensive solution to be able to do things when it's really hot. It stays damp for some hours also.

Worked really well! And helped us keep cool on those hot summer days at the theme parks. I just wish the towel didn’t get so stiff when dry but once it’s wet it does its job very well!

Unlike other products, this one actually retains water and keeps you much cooler! Do not waste your time buying the towels that are similar to a kitchen towel because it is like putting a hot, wet rag on your shoulders. This towel retains water and keeps your cooler. I live in south east Texas and it gets me through the heat during all day outdoor events! Love this product!!

I'm heat intolerant and this thing saves my life on the daily. I live near Sacramento, CA where it gets to be 100 on the daily in the summer and this towel keeps me cool. It is easy to use and you just need to wet it with water to reactivate it. I like wearing it around my neck when I do errands. It's refreshing and lightweight. They make different sizes but I prefer this larger size as it covers more area. I'd buy 10 more honestly like I'm surprised and impressed with the effectiveness of this item in combating hot weather.

I love the material this is made of. It's the opposite of a sensory nightmare. I love it... it stays cool for a while but the ends start to dry a little bit fast, in my opinion. Maybe it needed to be wetter to start but I also used it when it was not that hot so it makes me think in worse heat it might perform worse. I have heat intolerance so I really test a lot of tools to help with it. This is pretty good overall and feels worth $12. Also, i haven't tried it but I don't think the container is sufficient to store it. It'll get all dry and stiff if allowed to dry completely so I recommend storing it in a zip lock freezer bag.

Love this .keeps cool for a long time .ive used it multiple times for my son's football games and for him .its better then the usual cooling towel because of the material others are usually just made of cloth and u constantly have to keep wetting them .this one I keep in a cooler at his games or in the fridge before using .Its worth the price. Will buy again .update: make sure u wash it every now and then just regular dish soap and rinse it.and to store it fold it and let it fully dry before you store it .

I remember a friend who was wheelchair-bound recommended these to me. The first ones I bought were like shammy leathers - hard when dry but put them under the tap and they go soft AND HOLD THE WATER IN for maybe a couple of hours. Put round your neck and it is like having a cold towel that does not dry in the heat cooling you down. Tried to buy more recently and they seem not to sell them I think because they were made from something not so good like PVA. Tried the microfibre cooling towels but in comparison these were no good. Then I found this online and yes - back to that shammy-leathery stuff that really works. Can't recommend enough for a hot day.

I love this product although it arrived in PINK not purple. Ironically I wanted pink to match my wrist bands anyway so maybe the Amazon packer read my mind! The product itself is excellent. We get a lot of heat waves in the summer so this works great just to drape around your back and shoulders or chest and shoulders to help cool down. You can also wrap it around you legs, arms etc - anywhere that is feeling particularly hot. This might be beneficial for someone with a heat rash or hives as it soft, cool, wet and feels great on your skin. It comes in a plastic reusable sealed tube - you store it wet so it is ready to use whenever you need it as well as it travels well in a beach bag, backpack etc. After buying this through Amazon, I have since found this same brand/product in outdoor sports stores but was happy to see I saved a couple bucks buying it through Amazon! This would also make a great gift idea for someone athletic or who spends a lot of time in hot climates, work environments etc. It stays cool for hours - as it dries out, I either spritz mine with a water bottle to keep it moist or submerge for a minute in a sink/bowl of water. Washes nicely by hand with mild soap and water.

Giving this one star as it's not possible to give a review without a star. This item stays wet for hours, or at least damp. Thats about it. It is not cooling. Bought it for travel hoping to stay cool in hot weather and was dissapointed to discover that I handed over money for absolute rubbish. The saying, "if it seems too good to be true it usually is" comes to mind. Invest in a portable fan, your money will be better spent.
