I’m 6'2" and usually wear an XL because Large shirts betray me by being too short. XLs give me the length, but then I look like I’m wearing a parachute. This shirt? Nailed it. It’s labeled Loose Fit—and they weren’t kidding. A Large fits like an XL, but without the “is he hiding snacks under there?” vibe. Now, it’s 100% cotton, which usually makes me think “swampy armpits,” but this one? Nope. Lightweight, breathable, and surprisingly comfy. I’m an athletic trainer on a construction site in Phoenix. If this shirt can survive that heat, it can handle your backyard barbecue. I saw it's a frequently returned item, and honestly, I don’t get it. I’m super picky with t-shirts (like, "Feel a shirt in my closet I've worn a hundred times but suddenly it gives me the ick" picky), and I’m keeping this one. If you like your shirts roomy but not ridiculous, it’s a win. TL;DR – Loose Fit means loose, so size down if you’re between. Doesn’t suffocate you. Surprisingly breathable for cotton. Not bad at all.

Great fit, quality and durability.

I bought this for my 80 father, who is difficult to buy for. He is a Vietnam Vet, who never tells you if he needs anything or purchases items as he needs things. I had this sent to him for his birthday. I was surprised when I talked him next. He informed me he buys the same brand at Lowe’s. He told me, “you did good” with purchasing this shirt. Those words are rare to hear from him, and I was excited to hear that. He admitted, that it was not a color he would have bought. I informed him the reason for my purchase of the color was he would look amazing in the color for his tan and warm coloring. He agreed to wear it. He admitted he will get good use out of it. My father is a jack of all trades. I grew up watching him build our family home, barn, restore trucks and tractors, use farm equipment at grandparents’ farms and work at Ford factory 12 hours a day. My father is not gentle on his clothes. He only buys the best. It has to be durable at excellent quality, but comfortable to wear no matter what he’s doing that day.

My husband loves this shirt. It is super thick and fits a tad oversized but he doesn’t mind. Feels like great quality for the price. Will buy more

I have now bought about 10 of these shirts for my two boys and my hubby. While they are excellent quality and style, they run very big!!! My husband is 5:11 and about 190 and always wears an L or XL, but they were both way too big! The med fits perfect. My 1 son is 6:3 and 160 and got the med, again, way too big. Sent back for a small and it fits, but still lots of room to spare. My other son is 5:11 and 165 and the med fits nicely with some extra room as well. The pockets are perfectct, very soft yet thicker fabric and plenty long for tucking in. I bought the ocean blue, brown, white, black and gray. Same issue with each of the colors. I got the black ones for only $10, what a great deal for such a super t-shirt! Def heavier than normal t-shirts, typical Wrangler quality! I highly recommend if you can figure out the right size. Def size down one or two sizes!

I do not usually buy Carhartt t-shirts because they are a little on the expensive side, but I caught the brown color on sale for a price I could not resist ($10). Heavy weight and good quality as expected. Not a mid-summer shirt for me. These are loose fit so they are going to run a little bit on the bigger side. Washed and dried with no noticeable shrinkage. Even if they do end up shrinking a little after multiple washes they would still fit fine.

Bought several of these for the hubby. Great quality. Highly recommend them.

These are amazing quality shirts. I ended up ordering another for our Son. The colour is really nice. You can’t go wrong with Carhartt.

So much better than 90% of shirts in the WIP range. Obviously the texture and colour change a bit after a few washes, but that's why WIP is 3 times the price. Generally I'd go for this shirt every time over a WIP one though because I don't mind that lived in look.
