Takara Tomy Transformers AM-18 Decepticon Figure Airachnid

Look, I don't know WHY Hasbro screwed this figure over and I don't know what Takara Tomy went along with it, BUT, that doesn't remove that this is one of the most show-accurate figures made. The RID (Robots in Disguise) version isn't worth it. The Arms Micron is beyond worth and at points I could not put her down. Her Arms Micron, Ida (E-dah), is a spider, more or less, and is awesome as it converts to a fanged claw arm for her mistress. Sadly, this cannot be a triple changer as she is in the show but, the sticker detail is very good, and if you care to, use a gold sharpie to color in other areas on her feet, and head - it helps. I suggest you DO pick this up. Once you do, you'll understand. You can see the flaws and better way to transform her, BUT you'll fall in love with her detail, and if you want, use a purple sharpie and color her lips. This is a 50/50 toy in the love/hate area and yet, you won't regret your purchase. Even if you have the RID version, GET THIS ONE. You'll be angry you got the RID and enjoy the Arms Micron even more. PLUS, Ida is fun to play with, and THIS is coming from someone who has arachnophobia. GET IT! LOVE IT! DO NOT REGRET IT!

The first time I saw the figure, I didn't decide which one to buy, the Hasbro version or the Takara Tomy version.After viewing some reviews and watching a few videos of each toy I decided to buy this one instead of the hasbro version, I think it makes justice to the figure and makes it more "show accurate".Get it, it's worth every penny you invest to get this figure and add it to your collection. Wonderful and well done.PD.: BTW, if you want to make it even better or look more "show accurate", shapeways sales a mod for the figure to replace the helicopter rotor and add more spider legs... check it out.. :)

This is a Japanese import and a great collection piece for any Transformers fan. If you are opening the box the instructions are in Japanese however they are also numbered and simple enough to follow. The figure does not have a lot of movement built into her design however the likeness is incredible. This is a high quality figure for any collection.

I'm a collector so why not have this toy but it does not pose very well it's like a oversize legends toy lol.But the chopper mode is cool she is a shell former to do lol if u know what I mean if your a collector.huge fan of the cartoon series so it's a must have.

I bought this for my son's 6th birthday! He loves anything Transformers! The product was fairly easy for him to transform once Dad learned how to do it and showed him. Great buy!

We got this for my son He says it's ok. I don't really know any thing about it except that it cost too much.

Wow, I never thought I would find an transformer that my 5-year-old son would dislike--but after 5 minutes he announced he hated it. It is tiny, cheaply made, and the box and instructions are all in Japanese--which was not at all apparent from the product description. I will be returning it.

異形さがいいです。変形も独自で気に入っています。付属パーツもあるので得した気になります。

エアラクニッドは元ディセプティコンの女性型トランスフォーマーです。母星・セイバートロンでの大戦後、戦線離脱をして一人で宇宙を放浪していたようです。加虐的で残忍な性格の持ち主で、戦いも人質を取る、拷問をするなど卑劣な手段を好んで選び、相手が苦しむ様子を楽しんだりします。また、日本放送ではカットされましたが、狩った獲物、敵の頭部、または頭蓋骨を収集していて、宇宙船の一室をコレクションルームにするほどです。完全にサイコパスです。かなりヤバい人です。また、オートボットのアーシーは大戦中にディセプティコンの捕虜にされた事があり、その際、当時のパートナーのテイルゲイトを目の前でエアラクニッドに殺害されました。この事はアーシーのトラウマになり、エアラクニッドを憎んでいましたが、偶然、地球に不時着したエアラクニッドと再び合間見える事となります。一方、エアラクニッドは復讐に躍起になるアーシーを面白がり、再びパートナーを失う苦痛を与えるために実質、現パートナーの地球の少年・ジャックをつけ狙います。この商品の批評ですが、残念ながら問題ありです。問題はロボットモードにつきます。プロポーションは劇中の印象を残すもの、腕は板をジョイントで繋いだようにしか見えず、辛うじて腕に見えるかな?という感じです。手首の処理の仕方もひどいです。足も真っ直ぐ過ぎて足らしいラインは感じさせません。可動も壊滅的で、腕、足、共に可動部が少ない、パーツ同士の干渉でポージングは、ほぼ望めません。素立ちも足首の可動が無いので、やっと自立出来るくらいです。ただ、顔の出来は劇中に良く似た出来です。ビーグルモードはステルスヘリ。劇中は最初、背中からクモかザトウムシのようにいくつもの脚を伸ばしたような形態でしたが、後に地球のヘリをスキャンしました。かなり劇中に近いプロポーションで再現されています。コクピットには座席まである凝わりようです。パートナーのマイクロンはクモ型のイダ。クローに変形します。エアラクニッドの最初の変形モチーフを思わせるグッドチョイスです。今回、久しぶりにトランスフォーマーで残念と思いました。例えるなら「大きなEZコレクション」といった印象です。EZコレクションは安価で小さいシリーズなので、多少は「仕方ないか」と思えますが、これは中々厳しいです。他のトランスフォーマープライムシリーズと見比べても見劣りは否めません。

発売前の写真の段階であまり期待はしていなかったのですが、これは予想以上に酷かったです。ロボットモード・股関節と肩の稼動範囲が狭すぎます。直立に近い立ち方しか出来ません。・バランスが悪く自立も厳しい状態です・顔の出来はＧＯＯＤ。よく似ています。集光ギミックもライトを当てればなかなか雰囲気出ますビークルモード・こちらは劇中の再現度はかなり高いと思います。・ランディングギアはありませんがちゃんと自立します以上は単品での評価です。このエアラクニッドは２個買って初めて真価を発揮します。ローターを２つ取り付けて蜘蛛のようなビーストモードを再現できます！ローターを取り外せるのはその為だったのではと思わせるくらいの変貌を遂げます。単品買いでガッカリされた方！勇気を出してもう一個購入する事をお勧めします
