Briggs and Stratton 725EXi Series, 25 mm x 3-5/32" Crankshaft

My mower is alive. I bent the shaft on my engine and it was impossible to cut the grass. This engine was really easy to install. It fired up on the first pull. It did smoke and spit oil for a couple mins but once it burned all the oil out from shipping it ran great. It was shipped with a quarter cup of oil in the motor. All i had to do is dump old oil out, fill up motor with new oil, thread bolts in motor, then put the motor on.. Its the same engine I had on my mower just different color cover. I ordered a used engine and it was not used at all. They just open box and returned. I am so happy with my purchase. The factory bolts are self tapping so you dont need any special tools to install the motor.update!!! My mower is still running strong 3 years later. I have upgraded to a larger yard so I just use this mower for areas my large walk behind cant get to. Still very happy with the replacement engine.

I ordered the engine for my Huskavarna AWD lawnmower to replace one with a bent shaft. The shaft size (not listed in the description) was 3.2 inches long by 25mm diameter or 63/64 in inches which I was able to adapt to the mower with a little extra work. I filled it with oil and gas and it started on the first pull, but guess what? It ran for about 30 seconds and self destructed. It attempted to start several times but was very noisy and failed to run. It appears by the reviews that some are good and others bad, so there’s probably a 50/50 chance of getting a good one. I was able to get a refund but had to dispose of it myself. Hat’s off to Amazon for taking care of the problem.

This moter was an excellent replacement for an older Tecumseh on a Toro Recycler that still had many years of life remaining. The price made this project very economical vs purchase of a new mower. Only needed a shorter brake cable to complete the work.

Parts missing, did not work . Not happy needed this motor so I can splitter wood.

My next one will be a little larger maybe an electric start. Love it

Do not buy this damnable motor its junk it about broke both of my wrist and the string backlash bruised my ribs. It will not start no matter how much I try. Worst motor ever

Good running motor only fault found is it's not threaded at mount .had to buy tap set to fix issue. Poor craftsmanship quality controllers allowing this through
