Great quality tape dispenser. I had my original one of this brand for years and it was an absolute staple on birthdays and Christmases when I was wrapping presents. The blades stay sharp, the weighted bottom means that it doesn’t tip over and you can use it one handed and I liked the baby pink colour in my office. Very easy to replace the tape and seems to work with any standard role of tape from the shop as the inside wheel is slightly smaller on one side which means you can push the role onto it until it’s wide enough that it stays nice and tight. The only reason I have to replace was because my daughter dropped it on one of her many occasions of stealing it for her craft work and broke the pin which holds the tape in the dispenser. Unable to find it, I couldn’t fix it so had to buy another but went straight back for the one I bought a couple of years before. It’s a good size without being too bulky, it cuts tape perfectly, it grips onto the table without sliding about everywhere, the colour looks nice, fits Most generic office Sellotape sizes and good value!

Very happy with the dispenser and it came with two rolls of cellotape. Heavy, sturdy and well made. Bottom grips table well so it doesn’t move while using. Great value for money.

First off, the "Heavy Duty" label seems to fit. This dispenser has a good bit of weight to it, which is exactly what I was after. The black colour is smart and doesn't look out of place in a home office or a more formal setting. Using it is straightforward. Loading the tape is easy, and the cutting blade is nice and sharp, giving a clean cut without too much effort. It takes standard-sized tape rolls, and the two included rolls were a nice bonus to get started with, though they were just basic clear office tape – good enough for general use, but you might switch to your preferred brand once they're done. I'm not entirely sure what the "500" in the name refers to, as "1540" seems to be the main model identifier I've seen for this Rapesco heavy-duty style. The overall build feels pretty robust. It’s mostly plastic, but it’s thick and feels like it can withstand a fair bit of daily use and the odd knock. Pros: Heavy and Stable: This is its biggest advantage. Cons: Bulkier Size: Being heavy duty and weighted, it naturally has a larger footprint than a small, lightweight dispenser. If desk space is extremely limited, this might be a consideration. Quality of Included Tape is Basic: The free tape rolls are fine for everyday stuff but aren't premium quality. You'll likely use your preferred brand once they run out. Plastic Roller for Tape Core: The central roller that holds the tape is plastic. While it seems fine, some ultra-heavy-duty dispensers might use metal here for ultimate longevity, but for most office/home use, this is perfectly adequate. This of good size and hefty so it doesn't slip around on the desk. Amazing value for money too.

Tape dispenser is exactly as shown and what you would expect. Very heavy, sturdy and good quality. My first dispenser was cracked, probably from a drop or getting thrown about on delivery, but I emailed the seller directly and they were really quick at getting back to me and sending me a replacement.

Muy bien, ha llegado bien empaquetado, es pesado para que se puedan cortar bien las cintas sin problemas. Lo único que había comprado para mi hijo para usar en el cole, y resultó demasiado grande para uso escolar (no me había fijado en el tamaño), pero para la oficina está perfecto.

A bit klunky but robust…. Tee roll tends to come out too easy ….. but I,prov8ng the technique solves it !

The tapeholder seems to have the potential to be good. Much to my disappointment, it arrived damaged (broken on one of the bottom corners). So annoying and waste of money.
