Paula Deen Pantryware Cookbook Stand, None, Bronze

Boy did I spend a lot of time looking through all the cookbook stands on this site. I'm VERY happy with this purchase. This is durable, wont fall over even with large books, holds large books and small books and even just a piece of paper. I'm not much of a rooster person, this is my first and only rooster in my kitchen, but I think it adds such a fun whimsy to my kitchen. It sits on my island, so it's center of the kitchen. If I know what I'm going to cook that night, then I put the recipe on the stand for the whole day and it actually gets me motivated to cook! If I have no recipe planned for the near future, then I just sit a pretty cookbook on the stand and it still motivates my wanting to cook. Oh, and I love having my recipe upright and in front of my face while I'm cooking! No more sitting it on the counter, where it gets all dirty and I have to constantly look down and find my place. Having it upright and in front of your face really DOES make it easier!!I just wanted to add this...3 YEARS later...I still love this and everything I wrote above still holds true :) Such a great buy!

It arrived in a very big box and I thought, well they certainly overdid the shipping. Then I unwrapped it and it was HEAVY and bigger than I thought it'd be. I set it on my dining room table thinking that I'd try it and then just return it. Then when I put a cookbook in it it swallowed up the book. Big does not mean bad. I found that I can put 2 big cookbooks on it (side by side) and a 3rd cookbook in front of those two. Well, it is the best designed cookbook holder I have ever found. I do use more than one cookbook at a time and now I have a place to keep them all together, to use one after another. How ingenious is that? I love the Paula Deen design with the rooster on top. So charming and one of the very best tools in the kitchen.

Really nice cookbook stand. Very pretty. The picture does not do it justice. Perfect weight and size: it fits under the counter nicely and is not too heavy or massive but plenty substantial. The design is great! It will hold about any size cookbook you have and the angle is perfect for reading while cooking. I have about 35 cookbooks of different sizes and it works well for all of them. In addition, it does a good job of keeping the cookbook open flat. I love it! In the last ten years I have had two other stands (the plastic type with the acrylic screen that was suppose to hold the cookbook up and open and a heavy iron one which was way too bulky and heavy to be covenient. Eventually trashed them both. Neither was as functional or attractive as this one.

I love this product! It's a little lighter weight than I expected, but still effective. My rooster on the top came bubble wrapped, so no issues there. This even holds my Better Homes Baking cookbook (over 350 recipes), when opened at the middle and for recipes towards the front and back as well. It's a close fit, but it fits, so no issues there. Just what I was looking for!

I've been looking for a cook book stand for awhile and I really liked this one but in the picture it shows the back design as all one piece but what I received was welded together. Other than that, it seems sturdy and I like the worn look it has.

It took 2 tries to get a decent version of whats pictured. The first one came horribly welded, judging by how the 2nd one was packaged, the first 1 was also packaged wrong. What i mean by horribly welded however, was that the rooster was crooked, and it looked like if it was given a hard smack by a cabinet door it would break in a heartbeat. Not only that but the end points in the welded metal, were sharp and jagged instead of a smooth end. The 2nd one was in fact better, and packaged better this time, but there is still a jagged piece that's irritating because its for a gift, and the rooster is still a little insecure. Hopefully it works out, and lasts till Christmas when i can gift it, otherwise it'll be returned for sure. Name brand supposedly too! Disapointing

This item is a nice way to give your kitchen a different look. I love to cook and have been using a clothspin to hold up my recipes on a a door handle, or just laying the cookbook on a wet sink. I have actually wanted something like this for a long time, and I really like the sturdiness and design of it. The color I would imagine would fit into most styles of kitchens: mine is more traditional. You can fold it up if you like, but I leave mine on display all the time with a cookbook on it. I suppose you could also use it to display a picture if you like. Would recommend.

Looking for a cookbook stand for my new kitchen. This works with most cookbooks. It is of fairly cheap construction and I have to agree with other reviewers that I would have thought better of a Paula Deen endorsed product. It works if you want to use it as a decoration, but don't try moving it because it will just fall down. If you try to move pages - it falls - probably because it is so light. This product should definitely have been cheaper for the construction - I don't think I got my money's worth - but as a decoration it's ok - I guess.

Super high quality and durable. LOVE this and it's beyond my expectations.

Just hope it will hold a large hard covered cookbook.

Looks great and works great with my recipe books. The only problem was that the rooster on top was bent when i got it and it seems like it might break off if i touch it again

Solid and sturdy. Attractive. Holds my iPad on it. Fast shipping. Might be a bit high in front for a recipe card.
