High quality razors at good price. They give a close shave
These worked well for my 18 year old son. He usually sports a goatee. The razors are sharp and he rarely cuts himself with these razors. The razors cut smooth and close to the skin giving him a close,clean-cut shave. They work well for any fairly new shaver. And they are easy to use and glide on the skin. My son likes thes razors and approves of these. I will buy more of these high quality razors. They come at a great price too.

Smooth shave, good value!
This 5-blade men's razor exceeded my expectations! It gives a close, smooth shave without pulling or irritating my skin. The blades glide effortlessly, making it easy to get a clean shave even in harder to reach areas. The handle has a comfortable, non-slip grip that gives great control while shaving. I also appreciate that it comes with a replacement head cartridge, which makes it an even better value. The replacement is easy to switch out, and both cartridges stay sharp through multiple uses. All in all, this razor provides a comfortable, high-quality shave at a great price. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable razor that performs just as well as more expensive brands.

Great for the money, but not as good as Gillette Proglide
I've been a long time user of Gillette Proglide. I've been very happy with that product. However, the cost of blade refills continues to climb..... So I went looking for an alternative. These are much more affordable. They do a lot well. They definitely 'do the job'. HOWEVER, the Gillette Proglide blades are sharper, more efficient, and the handle allows more motion at the razor head. So, if you are on a budget and want something good, you'll be happy. If you are a fellow Gillette Proglide user, you will likely still be reaching for your Proglide unless you're on a tight budget. If so, these will do just fine, they are just a step below. The refill cost difference is nearly $30. It depends on how much that is worth to you.

Closest Shave Iโve Ever Had Without Irritating My Skin
I had to give this review. A must buy. I honestly did not expect to love these razors this much. Iโve tried everything over the years, including much more expensive brands, and these are by far some of the smoothest, sharpest razors Iโve ever used. They glide effortlessly and give an incredibly close shave without pulling, tugging, or leaving missed spots behind. As a woman with naturally coarse leg hair, finding a razor that actually leaves my skin completely smooth has always been difficult. What surprised me even more is how gentle these are on aging, more sensitive skin. No razor burn, no irritation, and my skin feels soft instead of scraped up afterward. The handle feels sleek and comfortable to hold, the blades stay sharp longer than expected, and the overall quality feels much more premium than the price suggests. I also love how clean and effortless the shave feels, especially around knees and ankles where some razors struggle. Definitely one of those products Iโll keep repurchasing. These completely exceeded my expectations.

Good shave
Very good razor. I can skip a day of shaving after using it. I thought it was a good deal.

Waste of money. Or is it?
I hate writing bad reviews, but the razor blades on this shaver are so dull that it has caused me to rethink my boycott of Gillette. They don't even work going with the grain of your hair follicles. I would not suggest trying to go against the grain. Ouch! I had to finish my shave using the Gillette Atra Plus (a two-blade razor). After review: I was still feeling bad about writing this review. It dawned on me after using the Schick razor that the Amazon Basic has a purpose. I use it as an "after shave" razor. I use the Amazon Basic shaver after I first shave with the Schick shaver. That way I can give more life to my Schick blade and have some use for the Amazon Basic razor. Once the Schick clears out the heavy bush, the Amazon works well to finish the job. The Amazon Basic is a good finishing razor. It might work well for those who shave every day. I haven't used multi-blade razors in a long while, but I am learning that they work best with a heavy lather of shaving cream... so that the blades can't all reach the beard. The first pass hardly touches, but it does enough to make the second, third, and forth passes much easier as the lather diminishes. Using this razor, you just have to start shaving differently. The "after, after review": The added another star. The more that I use the razor, the better I like it. It doesn't work well if your hair grows a few days old, but it works great if you use it daily. I shave every three of four days. If I was shaving everyday, I'd give it a five-star rating, but as it is, the blades seem dull to other blades that I am using.

Good Value and Comfortable Shave
I've been using this razor for a few weeks, and I'm pleasantly surprised. The handle feels comfortable to hold, and the blades give me a close shave without pulling my beard. The lubricating strips help the razor glide smoothly, and I haven't experienced much irritation even with sensitive skin. The pivoting head does a good job following the contours of my face, especially around the jawline. I also like the built-in trimmer for cleaning up around my sideburns and under my nose.Overall, it's a solid razor for the price, and I'd buy the replacement cartridges again.

Low quality razor, bad for many, ok for some
Item: Amazon Basics 5-Blade MotionSphere Razor (Starter Kit) Summary: Really bad for anyone with sensitive skin, tough beard, unsmooth face, or curly hair/whiskers. The trimmer is almost completely worthless for anyone. Possibly okay for anyone with great to average skin/beard. Pros: Inexpensive, quick ship, lots of lubrication, doesn't clog. Cons: Trimmer, Blade Angle, Blade Gap, Blade Longevity. Background: I have sensitive skin and curly hair/whiskers and my only goal, like anyone in the same boat, is to find the least worst razor to use. Nothing is awesome. To date, the older Dorco Pace 6, NOT the pro version, is the best I've found. Unfortunately Dorco keeps trying to kill off the older Pace 6 and force everyone to the Pace 6 Pro or the Pace 7 Pro, which are far inferior. Thus I occasionally try out other razors. This time it was Amazon's. Detail: Aesthetically the Amazon razor looks good. The first sign that the design might not be good is when you attempt to remove/attack a blade. I'm not sure why every manufacturer considers it so important to make theirs unique rather than practical or work well. Your first thought will be how does this work when the prongs stick out at an angle. With a little fidgeting it does. But why! With your first stroke of the razor, you realize it makes a lot of noise. This is because the razor isn't cutting all the whiskers, but pushing many over akin to an airplane crash landing in a forest as it skims the trees. I ended up doing at least 4 to 6 times as many strokes as the legacy Dorco Pace 6. I felt uneasy with using the razor near the eyes as I didn't want to catch the skin and cut like many other cheap razors. Something I never worry about with the legacy Dorco Pace 6. Then I got to finally using the trimmer. OMG this is an actual nightmare. It's so spongy that you can't. And it leaves so much lubricating gel that it sticks as you try and pick up to reposition. It's obvious no engineer was involved in the trimmer design or he/she was high and drunk at the same time when they were. After rinsing my face of all the lubricating gel I realized the places I typically have problems with cheap razors didn't get a smooth shave, specifically the lower neck, around the mouth, and around the side burns. After about three days of using the Amazon razor my opinion only got worse. I now have a ingrown hair in the lower neck and noticed the blades are considerably duller, so much so that my neck burns as I type up this review.
