Oenophilia Bamboo Corkboard Trivet Kit

The product is good quality and was a fun craft to use our corks. I followed the advice of other reviewers to have additional glue available, because the glue provided was not sufficient quantity to finish the board. I don’t mind that there are small gaps between corks, so I went with simple designs where I didn’t have to cut any corks. I had a similar product from a different company many years ago, and I liked that it came with small felt pads on the bottom to make it easier to slide across the counter; however, it was simple enough to add them, as show in the 2nd photo. The 3rd photo includes corks from some of our favorite Texas wineries!

Looks good once completed but glue provided was not sufficient. Used my hot glue gun and corks staying in place better.

Well made and easy to make as cork trivet with wine corks. Will be a nice gift for grandson.

This product is really cute and a unique gift for the wine lover in your life or even for yourself. The only downside is that the dimensions are slightly off so you may need to cut the corks. In order to cut the corks you have to boil them and then cut. Also I ran out of glue while making this product but I found that wood glue also works good. Hot glue will not work I tried it. Also if you plan on hanging it you will need to get picture hooks.

This is an amazing cork trivet. We were looking for an unusual cork trivet and this one was amazing! Easy to make. We asked the manager of Cooper’s Hawk if the save corks and he said “Yes, we do as people ask for them from time to time”. He gave us a huge box of corks! We were delighted! We are making him one, too, to thank him for his help!

The trivet for corks comes with the glue. This one is nice and deep enough for the corks. Looks like it will probably take about 35-40 corks some will have to be cut. But the quality of the bamboo is good. I think it will be a good trivet and will probably purchase again when I decide to make some gifts.Thanks for the quick delivery and the product being quality.

My six-year-old grandson helped put us together. It will be a Christmas present for his mom and dad should work great.

Esta padrísima esta cosa... la compre sólo porque no sabía que hacer con mis corchos... ya terminé mi primera tabla hace como 3 meses. me puse a hacer todas las reseñas de mis compras de Amazon y aprovecho... ahora la uso para todo jajaja... sobre todo terminó con un uso que no me esperaba... ahora que hace frio caliento mi plato un poco en la estufa a fuego lento y me sirvo mi comida en un plato caliente... y el plato claro lo pongo en la tabla para no quemar mi mesa... está fregón esto jeje... así quedó mi tabla (foto)

Good quality kit. It does not come with the corks, you need to get those separately. The glue works, but a few corks needed to be re-glued a few times before they stuck well.
