Great performance at little cost.

I just had a new door put in and within a year the door handles tore off and the person who installed it jammed the handle plates to the removable rings so it couldn't be removed. (what a pain!)So, I needed new handles fast that were cheap and looked good. I wasn't going to buy these becasuse it was a few pounds more than the cheaper ones I saw on Amazon. Plus, I was a little sceptical as I always go for the pricer items that end up disappointing.However, I am 100% glad that I paid the extra for these handles because they are FANTASTIC! ... It's worth every penny!The design is simple and stylish, the instalation is so easy to do (even I can do it!) and everything you need is provided too (apart from the drill and screwdriver :D).The mechanism is just brilliant and a genius design! They have 2 inter screw that goes through the whole door and hold the two handle plates, on either side of the door, together in place. Also the rings literally screw onto the handle plates which is so much better. The only problem I had was that I could only put in one inter screw through the door since the doorlock was in the way to put the other one in (it will make sense later). But it could be my fault because I might not have angled the plates in the right place to avoid the doorlock.Overall, these handles are great and the smoothness of the door opening and closing is bliss now. (just don't throw the instructions away)... I am very happy... Many Thanks!

I have an eight year old modern style property where these lever door handles are fitted throughout. On two doors, (cloakroom and bathroom) these were rusting, with the chrome lifting off and so was pleased this style are still available. ... I would think these are pretty standard handles for what is basically a not very expensive product. ... While they look pretty straight-forward to 'retro' fit, I was unable to remove the old handles and fortunately our decorator was able to sort this for us with perhaps a bit of brute force. ... BTW, on lightweight thin doors as fitted on many modern properties, part of the supplied fittings are not applicable for those doors. ... Instead, you use just the short fixing screws to secure the base plates to either side of the door.

I bought an item from XFORT & wrote a review, it wasn’t a really bad review but I had some issues. That was back in August 2024!! I never asked for my money back as I am using the item I purchased so I definitely wasn’t expecting a refund which they have just given me! I loved these so much I bought around 7. Great value for money and they look absolutely lovely. very sturdy as well. I had no problems installing them.

They look great but we’re hard to fix on, they are very flimsy in comparison to what I had previously. They do the job tho and are cheap enough so not entirely bad, you get what you pay for.

Excellent, much stronger than the handle they replaced. Highly recommended
