These are great . Ive bought both the short and longer version . They take my springer a few minutes to get through so not necessarily a boredom buster, but it makes his tail wag and is super good for his teeth while not introducing too many extra calories . I dont worry about chipped teeth or other possible complications seen with harder chews.

I’ve tried a number of low fat treats for our dog who is recovering from acute pancreatitis, and these are one of his favourites. They do smell of fish, but that’s fair considering that’s what they are! The resealable bag is sturdy and keeps the odour in and our dog loves them so they don’t hang around for long.

These treats are designed to be firm yet pliable; they are not harder than my own thumbnail. This is particularly important to us as one of our dogs has previously fractured a pre-molar on a very hard tendon chew. We are therefore uncompromising about ensuring the dental chews we offer are appropriately firm for the dogs. The firm, abrasive quality of these dried fish skin works effectively to safely engage their teeth for cleaning as they chew. Usage and Palatability: Both of my dogs are very happy to chew these, which is essential for a dental product to be useful. If the dogs weren't motivated to chew them, they wouldn't provide any tooth-cleaning benefits. The high palatability ensures consistent engagement with the product. Based on the product's composition, we use these as an occasional supplement to their regular diet, about 1-2 times a week. Impossible to use as an indoor treat due to the smell. It's a durable chew and I would guess great for the dogs teeth but phew what a stink.

These are a great alternative to a regular rawhide chew. We have our dogs on strict whitefish diet due to food allergies. These are a great snack for them. They are crispy but hard to cut if you need to.
