For the money its performance is very good also very quiet .wish it had a break in high winds it may move a little. So from time to time you have to press the initial button to reorient. Other than that. Its a very good rotor. Would buy again..

I'm using it for Ham radio. Have not mounted the six meter 5 element Yagi on it yet. But, it is working well right now. About 80 feet of cable from station to rotor. I like the memory feature and the handheld remoter control. Yet to see how it performs with the weight of the Yagi on it. The rotor cable has a run that is parallel and directly along side the Coax. I ran 100 Watts at 51 Mhz and no RF was inducted over onto the rotor cable. Final test will come after Yagi is mounted.

Did not work properly. Would zero, but wouldn't rotate after that.

I have to leave the control box turned off because my TV and sihnet remotes will false some functions of the rotor control box and the Hy-Gain 500 remote will false some TV and Dishnet functions.I previously had a Channel master rotor and digital control box with remote and all was good until the rotor failed and it's no longer made. The Hy-Gain instructions indicated that the Channel master remote would operate the Hy=gain control box but that is not so. The rotor itself is well built but I have to operate the control box manually, then turn off the power switch when done moving the antenna.
