This dish is very sturdy and pretty

I don't bake, but I do microwave. This "baking dish", with the addition of an appropriate lid, is ideal for microwaving prepared dinners from my local deli and does double duty as a dinner plate. I like Simax products because their borosilicate glass has a very smooth, hard surface that makes them easier to clean than other tempered glass products that I've used. The 10-inch Ozeri Fry Pan Tempered Glass GL3 Earth Silicone Lid fits perfectly and leaves more space for the food than the multi-diameter glass lids with their wide, stepped silicon rims that are the subject of several reviewers' complaints. But before subjecting the lid to oven temperatures, replace the original plastic knob with a silicone or Bakelite knob. In order to use the lid in a microwave, you must remove the knob, leaving a "vent hole" in the lid; there is no microwave-compatible replacement.The adhesive used to affix Simax's paper label to the glass is the subject of many complaints. I had to resort to acetone to remove it; even 99% isopropyl alcohol won't touch that glue. I have been a Simax customer for the last several years as I have discovered it is safer to bake with glass than aluminum, This cake dish is perfect and the edges add a lovely touch. Durable, high-quality, and worth every penny, I would encourage any cook or baker to purchase Simax products. I even use their custard cups for baking muffins and cupcakes and they always turn out beautifully.

I love these baking dishes. They are really pretty. I have looked for a long time for something I could use as a round glass cake pan. They will make a pretty cake and bigger than an 8 inch one which is better yet. I would recommend these dishes and buy again.

Use often. Fits my small convection oven as well as my microwave. Seldom use big oven so this dish is perfect for small household like mine. Don't think it isn't useful for a larger home because it would be!

Beautiful and functional. Love this pan - I make refrigerator cinnamon rolls in it every Sunday - perfect.

Exactly as I hoped it would be. Bought initially for a specific recipe, and have since found many other uses for it.
