Cheri's Desert Harvest Prickly Pear Cactus Jelly Candies, 12 Pieces, 8.5 Ounces

These are so delicious. We had them while we were vacationing in Arizona and fell in love with them. They are the perfect sweet treat!

I found these at a museum shop on a road trip, a little box of 4 candies. I bought one as a novelty, not really caring if I would like it or not. I just wanted to try something new, and these were intriguing. I've never had anything edible from a CACTUS before. But they were sooooo good, that I ended up coming online and buying more! Some for me and some for my family. These are VERY VERY VERY sweet, so despite my epic sweet tooth, I still only eat one candy at a time lol. Of course, I'm totally okay with this since it just makes it last longer :) I can definitely recommend, and it makes a great unique gift.

I read about this stuff in an email. It arrived fresh and delicious. So soft and sweet! I used to live at a place with a big cactus full of fruit. I used to made prickly pear liqueur. One time a friend come over while I was picking them. She was watching me blow torch the spines off of them and she boasted about how she knew an easier way to remove the spines from the fruit because she spent time south of the border. Oh yeah? I says. And like it was happening in slow motion, I couldn't get "STAHP U DUMASS!!!" out of my mouth fast enough when she grabbed one and rolled it around on her stomach in her t-shirt. I couldn't stop laughing. Instantly hundreds of tiny sharp cactus thorns embedded in her hands, stomach and t-shirt. I gave her a clean shirt to wear but kept asking "tell me again how the professionals do it?"

This organic, prickly pear cactus candy has a sweet-tart taste. It has no high fructose corn syrup and has just a few ingredients. There are 12 sugared candies in each box. This makes each candy about $1 which is spendy. It would make a nice special gift for someone. I saw these candies made on the show "State Plate" with Taylor Hicks on the Arizona episode as the candy is made in Tucson. I like to try different foods as a treat and something new. This was my first time to taste prickly pear cactus candy.

This candy is just bad. Tastes terrible, consistency is weird. Seriously questioning the taste buds of anyone who likes this. Now if you like eating out of the sugar bowl then the outside of these cactus candies is for you

My son’s fiancés sister traveled all the way from Australia, where the girls grew up, to Tucson, Az USA where I live. We are always giving each other gifts that represent our two countries and the state/city which we live. I decided to give your Prickly Pear Jelly and Prickly Pear Candy which represents Tucson, Az perfectly. The gift was perfect, she Loved it and thought the gift was a true represents Tucson and Arizona. She passed the box of the Prickly Pear Candy around at Christmas and Everyone loved the taste of the candy. It was a hit for our Christmas. I think it would be a perfect gift for any occasion, or if you just like Prickly Pear Cactus. I highly recommend this product, it’s real good you wont be disappointed.😋

I had "cactus candy" years ago and remember it having a jelly like taste and texture. These did not. I don't know if I received a stale box or if this was how they are; either way I was disappointed. The date on the box stated they were still good. The candies were hard and had no flavor except the sugar coating. Would not recommend to anyone.

I ordered these scrumptious treats because of a vacation I took a few years ago to Phoenix, Arizona. I stumbled upon Cactus candy at the Botanical Gardens, and after purchasing immediately ate the whole package. As an anniversary present I found these candies, and ordered them. My first shipment got lost, or something, but when I contacted the company they were so SWEET, and understanding. Their customer service contacted my local post office, and my leasing office to figure out where my package was delivered. No one was able to give an answer, but I've never heard of a customer service rep taking the time to do that. She has no idea how helpful and gracious that was. Then she emailed me to notify me when she sent it out the second package, and that she left a note on it telling the post office to leave at leasing office if the package didn't fit in the mailbox. I am definitely ordering from them again, and getting my little piece of Arizona. Thank you!
