Excellent collet replacements
Over the years I've used the heck out of my rotary tools and after inspecting a few of them I decided time was overdue for an upgrade. So I bought this package because it seems to cover the gamut of needs. These brass collets fit all of my rotary tools, including those on a flex-shaft, they grip the bit like they're supposed to and, to make it short and sweet, I love these! Would recommend this purchase to anyone!

Works with my Dremel
I was given a lot of bits which is great, but my collet was too small. The assortment had the size I needed, fit my 47 year old Dremel and are working fine. They are slightly shorter the an original, but hasn't been a problem. I would prefer steel collets, just not knowing how long brass will hold up. But having 2 of each, I should be OK. I would get them again.

Ok but middling quality and sizing may be off
These fit and work fine in my Dremel 395 although the collets are a different shape than the originals. They are decently machined although not perfect. Other than some minor infractions there were only two in my set that needed a little deburring on the slits and base of the shaft. There is more than meets the eye when it comes to collet design and machining, and while I know a bit these have inspired me to go look up more information on design. The bases on mine all measure 4.1mm and do fit a little loosely in the motor shaft (Dremel originals are 4.3mm to 4.4mm and have a slightly snug fit)...but they work fine. The overall length is indeed shorter at a hair over 16mm while the originals are 19mm but this is inconsequential in operation. The chamfer at the bottom is cut at the same angle as the original but is of much shallower depth. This seems to make them ride "high" in the motor shaft, but again, they work fine. What's interesting is that the main shoulder/gripping area of these brass collets is longer than the originals, giving good/better gripping power on the bit shanks. Maybe that's necessary because they're brass instead of aluminum but at any rate they grip very well. As for precision and centering, they are no better or worse than the original Dremel collets, which I often find needing to adjust a 2nd or 3rd time to get a true rotation, but this depends on the bit (this is true even for bits that I know are very precise in their straightness and concentricity). I actually mistakenly bought this set instead of another on here I was looking at. I needed a 3.0mm collet to fit some burrs I bought that were advertised as 1/8" but were in fact undersized. My good fortune is that the 3/32" collets in this kit both appear to be a bit oversized and fit the 3mm shanks nicely, so it works out great. I think if you have nonstandard bits or a range of drill bits you're probably better off getting the adjustable multi-chuck instead, despite its quirks that are still present (but do get the Dremel branded model that is made in Germany...the overseas copies of these all seem to be poorly done). It'll be interesting to see how these brass collets hold up and grip over time compared to aluminum. If one of these Chinese manufacturers or someone else would make a legit Dremel-proportioned brass collet with higher quality precision, they would have a gold mine of consumers ready to buy. But as someone said in another review on these, if you need precision, Dremel is not the way to go anyway.

Very reasonabley priced, I purchased two!
These collet's are a must have for any owner of a rotary tool. I had no idea there where this many sizes! The smallest opening is smaller than a toothpick or a 22 AWG wire. I'm not sure if the collet's being made from brass is a pro or con? I can say I've used several of them and they all hold the bits perfectly straight with no wobble. I also enjoyed the price that they are being sold for. Much lower than I expected. I was glad to order 2 sets. They are sold overseas (China) so expect a delivery time accordingly. The long wait is offset by the low cost.

Correctly Labelled Dremel Collet Replacements
Decent Dremel collets. I had a difficult time finding exact-sized replacements but this listing has the dimensions I needed to keep working on my projects. I used a vernier caliper to measure my broken collet before ordering and that helped.

Good purchase
Thought these were real brass. Hum,, I guess i should have considered the price, and i would have known otherwise. Anyway they work just well.

It has what you need
My bit didn't fit into my Dremel tool's standard collet, but I didn't know what collet I needed. Therefore, I ordered this assortment. Sure enough, one of them is a perfect fit for my odd bit. These brass collets probably won't last as long as a steel version since brass deforms more easily. This doesn't matter to me because I'm only using my odd bit occasionally. The collets fit perfectly in my rotary tool and tighten down firmly. I'm pleased with my purchase and recommend this set for people who need a variety of collets or don't know which one they need.

Amazing value if you are prepared to wait for delivery
Amazing value if you are prepared to wait as it is shipped from China. Worth the wait. 2 sets make this even more of a bargain. I have a rotary tool but not a Dremel, and these collets fit very well. The picture tells it all...a wide range. They feel sturdy as well and I can't really see them breaking or splitting. Pleased with my purchase.

BUY BUY BUY. No reason not to.
Does exactly what the listing claims. In fact I would go so far as to say these collets are as good or even better than the Dremel originals. The GREAT range of sizes fits ALL Dremel bits as well as all the after market bits that I have. They are robust despite being made from brass and securely clamp around even the smallest drill bit. I use drill bits for remote control models which vary in size from half a millimetre up to about 3mm and never had an issue. I would HIGHLY recommend them. They do take a wee while (about 10 days) to arrive but they are worth the wait. You get 2 of each size (8 in total) for the price of just one original Dremel collet. Its a no brainer!!!

Great value for money
Great value for money. Fitted my rotary drill (not Dremel) and means I can now use very small drill bits that were too small for the collets I had. Would definitely recommend.....as long as you're not in a hurry to receive them, although I did know they would take time to arrive as coming from China.

High quality machined brass collets at a very affordable price
These are excellent! I bought them for the Dremel tool I inherited from my dad. It had a 'one size' (3.2mm) collet that restricted the accessories I could use. These are very high quality machined brass collets at a very affordable price. Two sets, so I can use them in my flexible extension as well. Highly recommended!

Cheap and very cheerful!
These collets I ordered for my draper rotary tool. When I purchased the tool it was missing collets, so instead of sending it back again I ordered these. They arrived quicker than the two weeks stated and I have already used them a few times. The seem to do the trick and a lot cheaper than most places I came across. They are sturdy and I can see then lasting. The only problem is I might loose them before then!
