Is this safe to use with a copper core heatsink? The rest of the heatsink(s) is aluminum however the contact for paste is copper.

No it's not safe. This is known to slowly corrode copper. If it's nickel plated copper that's fine, but i would not use it anywhere near aluminum. It;s been generally thought that it would be safe with copper, but look on overclock.net, and you'll find plenty of people that say that it does corrode copper http://www.overclock.net/t/1313179/official-delidded-club-guide/14340#post_19550310it is safe on nickel plated copper like the cpu's Integrated heat spreader and nickel plated waterblocks.

Can it be used under a aluminium block?

No! I used this only for the space between my Die and the tim that is nickel coated copper. It's been in my computer for about 2 years and I have not seen any problems. Only use if you plan on delidding. I do not reccomend for CPU to cooler assembly.

Does anyone use liquid electric tape or something for safety, do you leave it on at the end after all done with putting in liquid metal and ihs?

You never want to use any tape where you have thermal conduction. just leave it on all upu need is a thin layer and it will stay put. Had it on for 2+yrs with no issues.
