First install leaked but I didn’t tighten enough. Little tricky to get the center piece and tighter at same time but after a few tries easily done. This replaced and fixed Asse1019. Photo has old that it functionally and successfully replaced. Surprisingly local hardware store didn’t have, thankful Amazon did.

Works like a charm. Three minutes total to fix. Watched “House Barons on YouTube April 13th, 2021 how to fix water leak from top of outdoor spigot”. Jumped online to check local store apps. Nothing in stock. Amazon delivery by the end of day with a small fee to expedite (even though Prime member). Repair done by dinner. This week temp was almost 100 degrees and the community garden was living on rain barrels and conservation watering for two weeks while I was away. Just got back to soak the garden. Suddenly the anti siphon popped randomly. Yikes! Jumped on YouTube. The listed video is very informative. Including the purpose of the valve and how simple it can be to fix. Thankfully use to checking all apps then Amazon for a part. Very happy with the part. Ease of order and delivery. Fit. Happy customer experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💯

wasnt so easy to install. I had to finally call a plumber because it kept leaking.

I have a hammond 58 hose bib that was leaking from the vacuum breaker. Technical support from Hammond was useless. I figured I’d give this one try and it fit perfectly no more leaks full pressure through the hose. You can thank me later.

The device did not fit the faucet housing, the soft plastic threads were disappointing. The internal components fell out making it hard to install. Ultimately I took the valve from this unit and put it in the old unit. That worked.

Used this to replace the vacuum breaker assembly on the Chinese frost-free unit that was installed on my house. The original broke and spewed water into my crawlspace for an unknown amount of hours. This new one seems to be of comparable construction as the original piece of trash. I expect it to fail in the same grandiose fashion at some point, but for now, it has solved the problem of introducing water into the substructure of my house, and providing a wonderful environment for subterranean termites to live in lavish comfort. It seems like all manufacturing has gone down the drain (pun intended.) Even the US-made units are constructed with similar injection-molded components like this that are destined for failure. We've become a worldwide society of waste generators, at our own expense, and the expense of future generations. Designed-to-fail components like this turn OUR HOUSES into items that will inevitably crumble, and cannot be passed on for future enjoyment by the people who come after us. Reading back over this review, it seems a bit dramatic for a faucet component. I have deeper-reaching concerns about the trajectory of our population. The part works; it fit and it stopped a catastrophic leak for now.

Did the job

It didn't fit on my faucet but the plunger part inside was a perfect fit so I am satisfied with the purchase.

Too large to fit correctly but I was able to re-use parts of the old one. Works great now!

With the writing on the cap, I was sure I had the right item. Researching these is not easy but when it came, it was as easy as unscrewing the old one (removing the interior pieces), screwing in the new one, and the leaking was history.

Waited too long to find out if it would work, and now is just a useless part for me that I suspect would cost more to ship back than it would cost to replace again.... all plastic with the rubber washer
