Black & Decker LD120CBF 20V MAX Lithium Ion 3/8" Drill/Driver

Probably the best cordless drill I've ever had. Keeps its charge for a good while and seems to be more powerful than other cordless drills I've used.

Used price was right. Although indicated like new, I'm a little concerned about the visible sparks that can been seen through the vent slots in the backside of the drill. Don't know if that is characteristic of all LD120CBFR drills or just this one. But, the sparks are not constant when using it, and so far it has performed very well. It has a nice balance.

But clamp will not stay tightened

I purchased this because it has a full 2 year warranty, is factory refurbished, and should be powerful. I have several other 20 volt lithium battery powerwd tools. They need less recharging and are much more powerful than their 18 volt cousins. I was not disappointed in either the power or the long lasting charge. I have had it a month or so, and used it quite a bit, I have been very satisfied so far.

It works fantastic. Lots of torque. I have it left at a vacation property so I can use when needed. Always handy.

this is very light weight and very powerful. didn't think it was going to be so impressive. But This was worth every penny spent. great deal

Light weight with nice clutch settings. Variable speed would be helpful and the non-removable battery runs out quickly if you are working on a big project.

This is an upgrade from my 14 volt drill that I've had for about 10 years and have used a lot. This is much more powerful, and amazingly, lighter! The first thing I used it for was something the previous drill couldn't handle, and it worked like a charm.

My old B&D died a smokey death after weekly, sometimes daily use for well over 10 years. I still have the tool bag and the two batteries that came with the old girl. Am expecting just as much from this one. Had to deduct one star as it doesn't come with accessories...but I knew that when I ordered.

Works well as a cordless screwdriver. Less good as a drill. Can drill into soft wood but that's about it. Would not drill a hole in a piece of ash, for example...not enough power. Spare batteries cost almost as much as the drill.

Its not good, I found it hard drilling in brick, not very powerful.
