This is expensive but was prescribed to help our cat lose weight. He is down a pound and much healthier.

We were apprehensive when our vet prescribed this for our chubby boy. He does like it, no issue with feeding. He just isn't happy with reduced portions!

I have two chubbies that are constantly hungry and sometimes they eat so fast they throw up. This solved both problems as they like it and the pieces are a little larger so they can’t swallow it whole. This was recommended by our veterinarian to address the weight problem and I’m pleased that the kitties are happy with it.

Ok- so my cat eats other food too so he is not getting skinny- BUT!!!!!! He is not getting any fatter and has lost some unnecessary weight

My cat is too heavy! Just started eating this. I’ll let you know in a year from now at his next vet visit if he loses weight! He likes this food. More fiber.

my vet recommended this metabolic food to help my cats lose weight. But they love it so much I think they are eating more than before, lol! But it does my heart good to know they're eating higher quality food that is better for them.

I ordered this for my cat who is well......let's just say she's not fat.....she's fluffy lol. I measured her prior to beginning the food and 1 month later she's down 4 pounds and 2 inches. I hate that it's so expensive and needs a prescription. But, it works great. It's worth the money in order to keep my cat healthy.

It seems that for a while, I was unaware of the fact that my cat was a fatty. However, after having to be away from her for a couple months, it seems she spent all her time with her kitty-sitters eating her feelings and I came back to a cat who was too fat to curl up into a ball while sleeping.I did some research online (where all the geniuses dwell with their opinions) and had read from multiple sites that wet food was the way to go for weight control. However, after buying some expensive canned food, I consulted with the vet, and they said absolutely no to canned food if you want the cat to lose weight. She gave me a sample of this food, kitty liked it, so I ordered a big bag.We are now on bag #2 and kitty looks visibly much better! Slimmer for sure. Has more energy. Tummy no longer so fat that she can't roll up while napping. Not making any pug-like sounds when breathing. All good things! We will keep purchasing!
