Are the wheels a hard plastic or more of a rubber material? Do they wear paint off the door with repeated use?

Hard plastic. If you have decent paint it shouldn’t be affected as there is very little resistance or friction between the wheel and the door if you fit it correctly. My door is stained and waxed rather than painted but I have seen no effects of any wear.

What is the plate thickness- ie floor clearance ?

5mm it is adjustable to clear the floor if required

Will this product worth with skirting and architrave around the door opening?

It all depends how you hang the door. The guide simply fastens to the skirting at floor level and keeps the door on track. With a straight track above the door (which we have) the door fits over the architrave.

As you see in the photo description supplied the wheel can come off and their and can be replaced.Please make sure the L shape part is secured to the wall first then refit the wheel.
