Not heavy gauge at all. Box was completely intact but item was crushed. Thin plastic like in the aluminum to go containers top plastic piece. No option for replacement only refund.

This works to catch water but it is very flimsy and is hard to dump the water from (without it getting all over you). I would like something a bit sturdier moving forward.

Not nearly as described or expected
This is not "heavy gauge." The thickness is close, or less, than what you might find on a plastic fast food container lid (think of those little sauce cups with the snap-on lids). The basket was nicely packed by Amazon, but was dented and easily pushed out of shape by the packing paper itself!I can't say it is worth $7 even in the most desperate circumstances. Maybe 70¢. Pass and find yourself something better, unless you are looking for something that is a pure throw-away item. :(
