Cos De BAHA Snail Repair Intensive Facial Serum with Vitamin B3, 2% Niacinamide, and 5% Allantoin - 4 Fl Oz (120ml)

I am getting into Asian beauty/skincare products, but needed to start with some easy-on-the budget items. To me, Korean skincare is especially known for snail mucin products. As someone with dry, sensitive skin with type 2 (and possibly also type 4/ocular) rosacea, I needed a product that would really lock in moisture without triggering any flare ups in my problem areas. I also have lots of ingredient sensitivities. This product has been amazing! I use it every single night, and a little goes a long way. It’s an interesting slippery watery texture, really lightweight through. Although it does get a little bit sticky depending on how much you use and how long you let it dry before your next step, I don’t mind that at all. I coat my entire face with it right before I use a Etude House Soon Jung 2x barrier repair. My skin still feels well moisturized and soft in the morning. I can even use it around my very sensitive eyes and on my eyelids! No stinging, burning, or drying out, and no watery, irritated eyes. And the price point is perfect for someone getting started on a new skincare routine. I would recommend this to anyone.

I slather this on twice a day for the last two weeks. The worry line between my brows is so much smoother and only noticeable when I furrow my eyebrows. I was thinking of Botox. I still might but just so I can’t furrow anymore and make the line deeper. My skin has a glow. It’s dewy and soft. My pores are less noticeable. I put it on a burn and it healed faster. This is a great product. I’ve already bought my second bottle. And it’s dirt cheap compared to other brands. Also, the snails live a good life and are not stressed. That was important to me.

At first, I didn't really like the sticky-ness of the serum but that is pretty general for serums (and it doesn't stay that way if you wanted to go bare face with it on.) Pretty gentle on the skin and I feel my skin thanks me for using it. My skin is pretty dry I would say so it loves any extra moisture. I haven't noticed any bothering smells or fragrance either. Also, a little product goes a long way! With the stickiness of the serum I find it works great with makeup especially with moisturizing my face so my foundation isn't cakey.

(oily, acne prone) I almost gave up on snail mucin, every product broke me out terribly. I realized after checking ingredients on CosDNA that all of the serums/toners/moisturizers I had tried contained comedogenic ingredients. I scoured Amazon for what seemed like hours and checked the ingredients of at least 20 mucin products. This is the ONLY ONE that is 100% non comedogenic (there was 1 other serum but it was a kinda sketchy off-brand that had 0 reviews). I haven't used this long enough to see results, but I have used it enough to know that it is very moisturizing and (most importantly) doesn't cause me breakouts. Plus, you can't beat the price for the amount you get. My only complaint is that it's a bit sticky, and takes a few minutes to absorb (knocked a star off for that). Panthenol tends to cause this in skincare products, which is fine, because it is still a wonderful skin-loving ingredient (seriously, look it up). To combat this, I only use 1 pump and apply it to damp skin. I have learned that less is more with basically any Cos de Baha product. I use several products from this brand (niacinimide, vitamin C 15%, BHA, and azelaic acid on occasion) and can 100% vouch for their effectiveness. I actually ditched The Ordinary for Cos de Baha. The price point is comparable and the products are far more cosmetically elegant, and very effective. These products have saved my skin and my wallet. I will update this review once I am done with my first bottle. ✌️

This product is great! It has such quality ingredients and at such a reasonable price point. My skin is very sensitive and easily irritated by almost anything and this product is one of the few items I’ve found that actually help to calm it down! It’s able to hydrate without being too heavy or sticky and I use it both am and pm almost daily. There’s no smell I can detect and the consistency is similar to aloe leaf gel which gives it a nice cooling sensation when applying. It’s great for layering or just using by itself on warmer days too. I’ve been using it for about 6 months and it is what I put on my skin when it’s acting up to help sooth it and usually it’s healed up quite a bit, if not completely, by morning. Honestly can’t recommend this enough. Really happy I was able to find Cos de Baha! Please keep up the good work. :-)

Alternative to COSRX snail mucin serum. Love it :)

Used for a couple of weeks and so far it didn't made a difference in my skin. Also it was very tacky on the skin and took forever to absorb into my skin. Once dried it leaves it all sticky not smooth or soft. This was just not the product for me P.s I have acne prone skin with acne scars with oily dehydrated skin. This product made my blackheads on nose more noticeable.

I don't usually write reviews but hot DANG. Put this snail slime on your face right now and get that magical young person dewiness the kids rave about. Seriously, I was hesitant to try this based on the too-good price. However everything so far from this company has made my skin look amazing. Their slime is really no exception - it gives a little plumpness and hydrated look to my skin. Haven't noticed any scent or stickiness after applying. (I think maybe some reviewers are using too much if their skin in sticky.) You really only need a few drops, so it should last a long time. If you're curious, absolutely try it. This newborn baby face has no complaints.

Unfortunately this didn't work for me. Within 2 days it caused my skin to break out really badly, I had nasty red bumps that took weeks to go away even after I stopped using it. When they healed they were extremely dry - I've never had this happen before - I had to return it as it wasn't for me. My skin can be sensitive to some products and it turns out this is one of them. Wish it worked as well for me as it did for others!

Bought this as have recently had major spinal surgery. Wanted it for helping to heal my wound. I’ve used snail gel for some time now and it’s absolutely fantastic! I do think this has a lot of hyaluronic acid in it in comparison to snail gel. However, I used this in conjunction with my rose hip seed oil on my 10 inch scar. It leaves the skin feeling very hydrated, soft and supple. Once it’s soaked in I use my oil too. I also use this on my face now as I do love using HA on my skin anyway. It truly does leave skin feeling amazing. It’s helping with my face scarring a bit too to be fair. It’s worked wonders on fading my brown spots/hyperpigmentation and my melasma too. I went to see my surgeon for my 6 week post op check. When he looked at my scar he was shocked. It was already white and fading into the skin. He asked what on earth I had been doing, so I told him-snail gel and rose hip seed oil. He was so impressed I had to show him what it was as he’s going to tell all those he operates on to use that combo, as my scar had healed so well it looked like it was several months ago. Definitely recommend this product. It leaves skin supple, refreshed and glowing. It works well under makeup and alongside most of my spfs too. A great size bottle that will last ages. I used this product to help with discoloration and moisture and it is definitely doing its job. A little goes a long way. I used this with Azeliac acid from Co's de baha as well and they both work well together.

Lovely product. Great value for money. Not much of a smell really but very light on your face. Feels so soft when dry. Im loving this! highly recommended.
