Munchkin Baby Food Grinder

Der Muchkin hat ja so ein Fleischwolf Prinzip wo ein Messer unter einer Lochplatte herläuft. Dieses Messer ist völlig stumpf und ungeschliffen. Das zerkleinert nur Essen, das man auch mit der Gabel zerdrücken kann... und das geht dann mit der Gabel schneller. Dazu kommt, dass die Kurbel auf der Welle zum Messer nach kurzer Zeit durchdrehte und sich das Messer gar nicht mehr richtig bewegte und dass die Schraube, die das Messer gegen die Lochplatte drückt, wahlweise zu fest oder zu locker ist, jedenfalls die Einstellung nicht behält... Gute Idee aber Schrott.

I have never written a review of a product before but I loved the Munchkin so much that I have been moved to write one now. I bought this to take on holiday so that I could mush up food we are having for our baby who will be 7 months when we go. Our holiday is still 3 weeks away but I have used this every day at least once since I got it. I wouldn't recommend it for stage one weaning as the purees it produces are probably not smooth enough but for my 6 month old who likes her food with some texture, this is perfect. I use it to puree whatever we are having for dinner and it copes easily with anything from pasta to rice to sweetcorn to pork and lamb. For making one portion of baby food this is absolutely excellent and I have been recommending it to all my friends.

très pratique! on n'a jamais préparé un repas a notre enfant appart, des tout petit il mange tout comme nous. grâce a ce truc aussi! jamais des boite pour les bébés. il a toujours mangé notre nourriture. et il mange du tout!

prise en main aisée mais pas adapté aux produits durs - à réserver aux aliments cuits ou mous ; avec les aliments trop durs, se déclipse et vous vous retrouvez avec un broyeur démonté or remonter un appareil en cours d'utilisation vous donne à coup sûr des mains sales!

Looks good, reasonably priced but a bit fiddly. Does deal with meat which needs grinding, not just mashing. Good for small quantities.
