Book two was even better than the first. Love the continuation of Charlie and Blaire’s story. This book picks up right after book one and is darker. You really get to see Charlie’s possessive and dark side. Blaire is a little violent as well, but she is so young and vulnerable. I cannot wait for book three as this ends on a cliff hanger. What a great read.

My daughter told me to read them and she was so right. They are amazing. Can't wait until book 3 is here.

But war is coming between the leaders, and when the dust settles, things may not be what they once were.****Spoilers******This book was emotionally taxing. Blaire endured so much trauma, and finally found happiness. Charlie was good for most of it, but he was slowly turning into what Maksim was and ruling over her. He was pushy on everything and wouldn't take any answers that he didn't want to hear.Blaire is a traumatized woman, but she is by no means innocent. She listened to Luna and went after Charlie's men in order to free her brother from being killed. But Luna lied and Blaire never really questioned the validity of what she said. I found that hard to believe given how analytical she is.All in all this is a great book that will leave you emotional destroyed in the end. I am hoping we get a resolution in a third book, because that ending was a terrible cliffhanger that broke my heart.

I don’t usually go for the darker reads because they are usually so outlandish. Ms Gray is able to write a dark book that has an actual plot and that takes some skill. Blair and Charlie are both broken, but they fix something in each other. The relationship is far from perfect, but it works and makes sense in this story. Very few books make me very emotional and this is one of them. I’m really looking forward to the next book.

Just reread this series again in preparation for the next book, and all I can say is I want more. What’s going to happen? Absolutely love Blaire and Charlie and can’t wait to see what happens next!

I have zoomed through the first 2 books, can't wait for the third. The characters are all consuming in their twisted passion.

Story is great and I will probably keep reading the series because of that and the cliffhangers. But I wouldn't recommend the series to anyone. Ending books on cliffhangers is a pet peeve of mine! In addition, the use of words that don't belong is beyond annoying!About 25% of 3-syllable words and over 50% of those with 4 or more syllables are just wrong. Not misspelled, not typos, not wrong tenses, but words that have meanings that make no sense in the context of the story. Usually I was able to suss out the correct word, but there were some instances where there was nothing even close! I'm not sure how they got past editors or sample readers!

They say good things come to those who wait and patience is rewarded well I am a believer.Blair2e from the minute you pick up this book and dare to enter are you transported back to the feelings and emotions that Blaire evoked.Blair2e takes you on a journey that is mind twisting, gut wrenching, heart pounding want to throw your kindle and scream at the author for taking your heart pulling it out and literally shredding it to pieces and leaving it like that.The book will captivate you steel your breath make you angry, frustrated, shock you and take you on a path you don’t see coming, you can try and second guess your way through this book and every time you do, Anita is there to throw a curve ball and send you spiralling in another direction. The story flows with mastered perfection, the emotions it evokes just Creep up on you and when you think you can’t possibly take anymore she does it again.If you fell in love with Charlie in book 1 then dear lord will your heart burst with this book. There are times I wanted to beat that man, time my heart hurt for him but still he has a piece of my heart.Blaire just continues to amaze me, the strength, determination and stubbornness is something else you find yourself wanting to reach into the pages and tell her it will be ok.A 6 star phenomenal, breathtaking, twistingly captivating read. You’ve seriously outdone yourself this time miss Gray.

I have just finished reading Blaire and Blai2e back to back. The first booked gripped me and the story albiet dark was intriguing. I loved the journey that Blaire went on from her life with her evil boss to her connection and time spent with building her relationship with Charlie. I love Charlie and how he helps Blaire come out of her conditioning and how he cares for. Then how he becomes her knight in shining armour and will kill and die for her. He's the ultimate hot sexy alpha male. The second book is just as dark with lots of twists, turns, heartbreak. It's a complete page turner and hearbreaker. I was literally sobbing reading the last pages. These books are an awesome read some content may be too dark and triggering for some, but it well written and such a brilliant series. I cannot wait for the 3rd book to be released, I can't live with how the last book ended, I need more. 5 stars is not enough for this series if I could I would give it alot more stars. Please Anita Gray, hurry with the next instalment.

Firstly book-1 Blaire I could not put down it was a page turner from start to finish, it pulled me in every direction, I just couldn't put this book down.My heart and head exploded with emotions.Anita great job girl.😘Book 2 Blai2e isn't the fairy tale with a happy ending or is it.... Time will only tell...It ripped my heart. Made me so god damn mad. Sobbed so hard I could not breathe.My emotions went through the roof.I'm not about to spill my guts out with spoilers why! because you need to read it and absorb every single word. They will blow you away.Charlie - Broke my heart.Blaire - I sobbed for this girl.James - I want to throat punch.Robert - Vile piece of work. Unhuman.Luna - Deceitfull bitch.Nic - Brother in arms.Los Zetas - Protect, Trust, kill for there leader.A must read. Five magnificent stars Anita

What a book !! This week since the lock down iDecided to try a new author and new books and they did not disappoint. I’m a sucker for a nice book cover it’s what makes my try a book( I know*sigh* )This is part two of Blaire and I am so blown away with the second instalment of this journey . Blaire is a bad ass galAnd can certainly hold her own . Built to switch off emotions and been shown very long nothing but brutality she is a true soldier looking out for her master . Plans take a different turn when Charlie just get let her go and makes her part of his world which much like hers is full of danger , suffering and a whole lot of circumstances that seem to never end . The story was just perfect I loved it . The story lines flowed well the characters all gelled it’s just a another super action filled part and I can not wait for the next book .I seriously recommend this authors work , I can’t believe I haven’t heard of her before now .You will not be disappointed read this book after reading part one !

That sense of foreboding was intense as hell.This book is intense, beautifully well written with characters you love and ones you want to punch the living daylights out of, and a story that gripped me to the end. Anita Gray spares no-ones feelings, she wants it all and takes it with her words."Hell is ready for you."I was not prepared for how strongly this book would make me feel, it certainly drags you through hell and back, but without the darkness there would be no light to lead the way out."Your darkness... your light... I love it all"This quote speaks so true of how to describe this book and what it was for me to read. I couldn't sum it up any better than that.
