Can't beat the price for a box of them. Work well and allow us to do parasite monitoring on the farm.....A box of these, a box of slides, a gallon of float solution and a mid grade microscope cost about what 4 vet visits would cost. Plus, a quick before-and-after test when worming tells you if resistance to your wormer is building. Not my favorite task....bu part of the game if you have goats, cattle, and pigs.

These work fine and the price is right. They are a little different than the higher-priced Fecalyzer. There is no little groove around the outside of the inner piece so nearly every sample is going to drip several drops down the side of the container. And, the caps don't fit quite as snugly as the more expensive Fecalyzers. This doesn't bother me, just means using more paper toweling on the test bench and to keep the bottom of the waste bin dry. We'll be using 150 of these each of the next 4 or 5 seasons to help assess the number of intestinal parasites at our dog park.

Great product, great price. Bought this item because it was the most reasonably priced. MOST the time they say you get what you pay for, but no complaints here! Received in a timely manor.

Does the job for a simple fecal float. But it leaks out at the joint between inner basket and outer case. Rotating the basket serves to mix your sample (some), no stirrer needed.

It's just like what we used at the vet clinic for running fecal flotation for internal parasite detection.
