My daughter had such a great time with this workbook. She loved getting a sticker after completing each page. It’s was a really great incentive for her to keep going. Really fun, captivating and easy to understand. It helped my daughter practice her reading too since the sentences were very simple. I will be using Carson Delarosa from now on in my homeschooling journey. She completed it in 2 days!

A few years ago, I toured three wonderful schools and ultimately chose one for my kids. While the school we selected doesn’t use Carson Dellosa, I noticed that the other two private schools did, with one even using advanced books for each grade (for example, 3rd grade students were using 4th grade books). Since I loved all the schools and noticed many similarities between them, I figured it wasn’t a coincidence that two of them used Carson Dellosa and that it must be good. So, I decided to use their books to supplement my kids’ studies at home. I incorporate them during the summer, holiday breaks, and whenever I want to keep their minds active. They’re well-structured, engaging, and exciting enough to promote independent work. My youngest especially enjoys the stickers, which are a great form of encouragement!Oh and one more thing, my current school uses cursive handwriting, and the Carson Dellosa cursive books were easier to teach my kid than the one the school used. It provided a better flow for learning. It was hard for him to switch from print to cursive, but the Carson books helped his learning curve.

Colorful, study, interesting. Skills in a nice progression for early readers. If they had more varieties, I’d buy more.

This book seems to be very fun for kindergartners. They love putting a star sticker on each page they complete. I like the book for English Learners as they are learning vocabulary as well as phonics. However, for some kids, there are too many pages devoted to "Beginning sounds".

Bought for grand daughter very helpful

The title is a little misleading... i thought it was a beginner reading book, but it's more like a workbook. Complete with games, puzzles, mind teasers and a bit of basic reading. Very cool... highly recommended and id buy more of these. Actually i hope this company has made more of them...if so id buy em right now.

My kiddo is in 5K and loves these workbooks for afterschool practice. Definitely helping with his progress in kindergarten. He’s been a little more sick than usual so when he’s up to it we work on a page or two.

My 3 year old really enjoyed working through this book with me. She already knew letters, numbers, and some sight words when we started but I feel like this helped expand her understanding. We bought this one and the Beginning Phonics book also. Both are small books but very appropriate for that beginning/foundational stage.
