Health, Safety, and Nutrition for the Young Child 8th Edition

I have not used this textbook in school yet, but I have thumbed through it and I am very excited about it. It is beautiful and the organization is great. Key terms are always in blue in the main text and the definition is at the bottom of the page like a footnote - there if you need it, out of the way if you don't. Informational extras and tables are color coded and easy to find. So far it looks very thorough but an easy read. I have had textbooks that didn't have the key terms in the index but had seemingly irrelevant topics listed, but this book has a very thorough index which is a plus! Also, it is very modern and clean looking. I doubt I will spend half of my study time being frustrated by the book like I have in the past.

Book was in excellent shape. My wife needed it as required reading for one of her ECE classes.The book is well thought out and gives a comprehensive understanding of healthy, safety, and nutritional needs of young children.I definitely recommend it! Especially if you work with young children or have young children yourself!Soar

I picked up the book from the Post Office on February 4th, where it was waiting to be delivered the next day-February 5th per Amazon's delivery date. After opening the box, I immediately noticed that this book has a small ripped on top of the back cover. I skimmed the pages and saw bunches of highlights and writing. But the book is helping me in my class except, I have to be extra careful with it.

This is a really great reference book. I used this book for my Child Development course. It is a very easy read. There is a lot of information covered in this book. I highly recommend this book if you plan to work with children.

I liked this book because I could rent it for school. This was really economical for me because I did not want to buy the same book at a more expensive price. This book helps be get my assignments done.

This book is VERY informative and covers a LOT details about children's health, safety and nutrition. Every parent or anyone having to do with children should read this book. Excellent and prompt seller response was greatly appreciated.

Very polite and professional, my book arrived sooner than expected. The book was advertised as new but appeared used, in good condition. Corners were slightly worn and edges of the pages looked a little dirty, the cover was wrinkled and folded in places. A little disappointed but the polite professionalism and quick delivery were perfect! A very thoughtful person, quick to mail because she knew I needed it and arrived just in time!
