This has everything you need to make wooden rings. It's fun and really cool to see the process. I've made like 6 rings and they've all been pretty good. I love the wood rings they give you. I've tried to get other wood blanks for rings but they're cut in a weird way and end up snapping. This is a wonderful value. It does take time to make these rings. Don't expect to make a ring in 10 minutes. It can take an hour or more for one.

This is a perfect set to learn how to make rings from pieces of wood. The value is there and it is not a big hit to the wallet. We have decided to do this as a couple for an at home date night. It will still be cheaper than going out for a date and we will have a ring to remind us of this date night at the end. It will also be a fun night learning a new jewelry making technique that can continuously be used to make money. In the end it is much more of an investment in us vs. just an expense. I have tried the different files on a couple pieces of scrap wood and they worked amazingly on the differed hardnesses of wood. Well worth the purchase in several ways!

Amazing. Crafted a ring for my husband. It was a wonderful gift. I took my time with it and it came out gorgeous. He is afraid to ruin it that’s how nice it is. I was about to make a few more rings too. I still have supplies left and I’ve actually used the tools given for other projects they are good quality for novices. Instructions were clear and photo examples very helpful. Great craft for adults or even teens. Great for a special gift or even making a wedding band if you like.

I was apparently too rough because I broke two of the rings while filing them, but otherwise the rings I've been able to make are very nice! I wish there were more ring blanks to purchase like the ones that come in the kit.

It’s pretty fun to use, I just wish the blanks where a bit bigger I wear a size 13 and that’s about as big as you can go before the ring gets to thin and will break but other than that I really enjoyed making one and it’s a good hobby to get in to

Missing 5000 size for sandpaper. Okay kit for beginners, but I'll just do my best without that level to sand. For what you pay, I hoped everything was in it. Also vice is okay but had to reposition it constantly. If you plan on doing this more, invest in a more stable one.

Used as a gift for 5th (wood) anniversary. It was so cool and fun to do.

For the money this is cool you get everything needed.
