Can the lights be used without the dimmer?

I don't use the remote. I've had these lights for about a year. All of a sudden the strobe function is kicking in and the lights go on and off.

I have had a similar issue. 1) Are you plugged directly into the 12v/DC power supply? Or use the small controller box? 2) If the controller box is plugged-in, remove it to see if the strobing continues. 3) If they’re flashing in unison—it’s from the controller or power supply. 4) If the strobing is out of sync: then, most likely, the LED is dying internally. (As LEDs do... especially if power isn’t “perfect” for them as designed by the manufacturer.) Good luck!

Remote quit working & I only used it a couple of times.

The lights work great but since the remote doesn’t work I have to plug them in & unplug them to cut them off

Remote stinks. Lights are BRIGHT.

Remote came and didn’t work it all. Even though we replaced the battery. Still absolutely nothing. Very disappointing, now we’ll have to install it where we can turn it on and off with a different switch. Not what we planned and really not suited to our needs. Lights also not really warm, more bright white. Otherwise these are a great item. Just wish they worked as they should. Not worth stuffing back into the box to send back.
