Hamilton Men's Khaki King - H64455133 Black One Size

I am very happy with this watch. I am currently on the homestretch of a watch buying binge on Amazon and have been looking for a reasonably priced, quality, everyday, Swiss automatic. I tried the Victorinox Officers white and black dials but was unhappy with the look and feel of both watches. They both went back. I also tried the Hamilton Scuba Automatic, nice watch but it seemed somewhat "small" on my wrist so it went back as well. I opted for this Hamilton Khaki King II Automatic and as soon as I unpacked it I knew it was going to be a keeper. The watch has some weight to it but it is just right. It feels perfectly balanced on the wrist. The steel bracelet is solid, light weight, and very quiet. One thing I've noticed however is that the push button clasp could be susceptible to scratches. The case thickness is somewhat thin compared to some of my other watches but this is just my perception. The overall case diameter is just right. Not overally huge like some of the other monsters out there. The crown guard is a nice touch and is a distinguishing characteristic of this watch. The two-toned black dial is attractive and easy to read. Typical Hamilton. What sets this watch apart is the arced full day display and date at the 12 o'clock position. The domed crystal is also nice but be aware it is not anti-reflective. Now for the best part, the movement. The movement of this watch is an ETA 2834-2. I've had the watch for 8 days and it has averaged a +2 second gain everyday. Outstanding for a real Swiss automatic in this price range. The movement is also smooth and quiet. Since I really like this watch I have been wearing it every day. I have decided to add an aftermarket brown Hirsch leather strap to change it up a little bit. Watch looks amazing with the leather or the steel. Hope this review helps.

My first Hamilton Khaki Field was a military version I wore as a young Infantry Marine while in service in the 1980s. 20 years ago I purchased a used Hamilton King Khaki Day Date that I wore daily for 5 years which I later passed it on to my son. Earlier this year I purchased my third Hamilton in King Khaki Day Date new to replace a Rolex GMT that I had sold. I have other watches some expensive some not so expensive I just had to have one of these on my wrist again. This is a Swiss masterpiece with a simple design that never goes out of style, coupled with an accurate and rugged ETA movement at a affordable price point. Some say you can't buy class but in the case of this watch I say you can.

Hamilton is a great entry brand for someone looking to get into swiss mechanical (not quartz) watches. I have many watches and this one is my second from Hamilton. Would rate it higher if it had better water resistance

I rarely write a review but this product calls for one. This watch is simply amazing. Cannot beat the price for what you get. Amazon has this product perfectly priced and I would suggest you grab yourself one!

After searching around for two weeks to find the ideal watch, I came across this classic time piece. I tried this watch three separate occasions at my local store, but they were unable to match the online prices here, so I ordered online. I wanted a simple, clear dial, with day/date and hour numbers. This was perfect, a Swiss classic without breaking the bank. Remember they are part of the swatch group, which includes Tissot, and Rado. So a safe bet I hope. I have fairly small wrist, and this fits perfectly on it, without feeling too heavy. But immediately, you can feel the quality of the craftsmanship. It's too early to comment of timing accuracy, but in a few weeks I will add further comment. The watch is a beauty; the pictures on Amazon do not do it justice, and really needs improving. Overall, a great time piece.BUT ..WARNING. watch out for Custom Charges. I paid another 30 dollars for custom to UK. a real shock when the invoice turned up.
