Remote works for Pontiac Vibe 2003
Oh my gosh! I am so proud of myself. I am not a techie person but I followed the instructions provided by Cameron. Thank you for providing these instructions. The first two tries, I encountered problems activating the remote key but I realized I still had the broken remote attached to my keys. Once I removed the broken remote and placed it inside the house, it no longer interfered with the programming of the new remote control. I simply followed the following instructions which Cameron posted and amazingly the remote worked. Cameron's flawless instructions are: "The instructions provided were hard to understand but after a quick search, youtube provided much more clear instructions. Here they are so you don't have to search. 1. Start with the key out of the ignition, driver's door is open all others closed and locked, driver's door is unlocked. 2. Perform these steps within 5 seconds. A. Insert the key into the ignition(Do NOT Turn) Pull key out. B. Insert the key into the ignition(Do NOT Turn) Pull key out. 3. Perform these steps within 40 seconds. A. Close then open the driver's door. B. Close then open the driver's door. C. Insert the key into the ignition(Do NOT Turn) Pull key out. 4. Perform these steps within 40 seconds. A. Close then open the driver's door. B. Close then open the driver's door. C. Insert the key into ignition and leave it in ignition. D. Close the driver's door. E. Turn the ignition to ON (Do NOT Start) then back to OFF. F. Remove the key from the ignition. 5. Within 3 seconds, the power door locks should lock then unlock automatically indicating successful entry into programming mode. Return to step 1 if the locks do not cycle at this point. 6. Perform these steps within 40 seconds. A. Press the lock and unlock buttons on the remote simultaneously for 1.5 seconds. B. Immediately after letting go of the lock and unlock buttons, Press the lock button by itself and hold for 2 seconds. Within 3 seconds, the door locks should lock and then unlock once indicating successful programming. If the door locks cycle twice, repeat steps A and B in step 6 as the remote was not accepted. C. Repeat steps A and B in step 6 for each new remote. 7. Open driver's door. "

Don’t purchase. Scam.
Do not purchase. Ignore the positive reviews because I’m going to be upfront. First of all, it only comes with the unlock and lock button. Picture and description lie about three buttons and battery. They did not “test” anything. Second of all, it doesn’t work at all, there’s no battery inside it’s just plain old plastic and cheap rubber. When you press on either “button” it breaks and falls behind the fob frame. Going to return immediately.

2003 Toyota Matrix - Instructions easy to follow, works perfectly
So here we are, SIX years later. How's the remote? lol, AWESOME! I purchased it May 16, 2018. Daily use, the labels rubbed off, and the "panic" button never seemed to work, but I never had to use it. The battery had finally started to die, I thought I was going to have to buy a new one. I mean, six years...but then I realized I could switch the battery out, so today I bought it a new battery and swapped it out. It didn't lose the memory, it's still keyed to the car fine. Funny thing, I guess the board was shifted or the panic button didn't sit fully on the switch inside, but now my panic button works great too. See you in another six years! Original review: Worked like a charm. I got it today, and it took a couple of tries to get the sequence just right. The automatic impulse is to shut the door. Ignore your impulses. You start with the door in the open position (for mine, 2003 Toyota Matrix) then proceed with the steps. I had seen some processes online like 20+ steps... This was only 5 steps total and boom, I'm walking away with a working remote for my car. Thanks!!

A fob that fobs...with a fresh battery
Works OK and mates to car; lost one star due to arriving with a dead battery.

Exactly what I was looking for!
Perfect. Amazing. Exactly what I needed and SO easy to program to my car! Over the last 4 years I have been to so many mechanics and auto stores trying to replace my key fob and they all quoted me at least $100 for the fob and $100 for the programming. Now that I know that you can buy this exact fob and program it yourself in less than 3 minutes without any special machinery, I am so angry at every mechanic who tried to tell me otherwise. This fob came with a card that directed you to where you can find instructions on how to do it, but I had bookmarked a YouTube video before it arrived and it watched that (I just googled “how to program 2005 Camry key fob”). All you have to do is a specific series of putting your key in the ignition and opening the drivers door and VOILA! I had to do it twice because I somehow missed a step the first time, but even so it only took 5 minutes.

Easy Peasy
The remote came packaged with a card that directed me to their website. Following the 3 steps listed on the card, I was able to locate the directions for programming the remote for my car's specific make and model. I printed out the instructions which were concise and clear. I followed the instructions and because I wasn't nimble enough to push the correct button on the remote the first time, I had to do it all over again. The second time was perfect and only took a couple of minutes at most. NOTE: Once you program a new remote, your other remote(s) will also need to be programmed. In other words, programming a new remote deactivates your old remote. So have them all handy and do them in one session. My car is a 2002 Toyota Camry. This worked perfectly. I was down to only one remote, so it is great to have this new one. I think the price of the remote was very reasonable.

Did not work on my 2007 Pontiac Vibe
I tried programming the key fob multiple times. My Pontiac successfully went to programing mode when the doors locked and unlock by itself and pressing and holding the lock and unlock buttons on the key fob for 1.5 seconds does not sync. I thought it was the battery, as if it was a dead battery, however, replacing that didn't work either. Even unplugging the battery in my car and plugging it back, still didn't get the key fob to sync. I have came to the conclusion that this key fob does not have good Pontiac vibes.

Easy to program
Easy to program, pretty much like OEM except no logo on the back of the remote. Works exactly like the OEM remote.

Considering the ridiculous amount Toyota wanted ($300.00(fob) + $100.00(programming charge)) this thing works fantastic. I was amused at the instructions requiring the programming, my kids wished me well and in less than 5 minutes it was done.

Doesn't work, ad miselading.
Dreadful experience. Followed instructions but remote did not pair with my car. The ad says free tech support but after several emails back and forth with the seller they simply said they couldn't help - contact the manufacturer instead. They gave me a link that didn't work, but by this point I am quite fed up and have a defective item.
