I used this on the threads on my mtb pedals on my e-bike, I used this on pedals, my last set of pedals threads were rusted/binded together (natures locktight;) and took a huge amount of force to undo them with an allen bolt, so much so the hex bolt head was semi-damaged and ruined the allen bolt head end rendering the bolt/threads useless for the pedals to refit them. I bought new set of pedals that had a hex allen bolt head and used this copper grease on the threads, it worked a treat and I now use this for periodic maintenance of the threads. This stuff acts like a barrier to two dissimilar kinds of metals and so prevents a binding of the threads (galvanic reaction that causes damage to dissimilar metals eg steel and aluminium), this stuff goes a long way so use a small amount with a tiny paint brush or with nitrile gloved finger. I have found it useful for this purpose. Pedal removal is easy now,no force needed!. I wish I knew about this copper grease before, I recommend this for the above reasons. Pedals now remove so smoothly without too much force. Easily recommended. This should last for ages, and is worth having for the easy of use of protecting threads. I also used this on the axle threads on my hub motor, to aid removal of the nuts that holds the wheel in the dropouts. It helps maintaining my bike in general. ps not for other lubrication purposes! Do some reasearch on copaslip/ copper grease. (it's an interesting read).

I'd have preferred a stepped-cone tip which can be trimmed, like on some grease tubes. It was annoying that plenty of the non-Copper part came out before the Copper part, which is needed to resist seize/corrosion. This is not a large tube so I don't want to have to squeeze out blobs and paint it in surfaces/threads, risking significant waste. No, I don't want to try using this with a grease gun top; I want to dispense much thinner. I'm using this as part of my plan to prevent any more seizing on/in my bicycle again, including from corrosion: * Corrosion seizure probably made it impossible to unscrew the top of a threaded headset from a threaded fork, and brute force tore off the top of the fork, requiring fork replacement, so I switched to non-thread-fork lucky-finds etc. * A stuck expensive, no longer size-available suspension seat-post requiring days of custom corrosion removal and frame heating cycles, then some careful leverage, to free it intact. I've used this on the no-thread-fork headset press-fit parts, H/Tech II bottom bracket, fitting screws, and will use it for the seat post, in addition to spraying/injecting JENOLITE wax-based rust inhibitors inside the now repainted frame.

Works really well.

Bought this copper grease to use during a brake service and it did exactly what I needed. Applied a small amount to the backs of the brake pads and the relevant contact points, and it spread easily without being too thick or messy. The tub should last a long time as you only need a little bit for each job. It helped make reassembly straightforward and gave me confidence that the components won't seize together in the future. The grease has stayed in place well and hasn't washed away after driving in wet weather. Good quality product, good value for money, and ideal for anyone doing their own brake maintenance. I'd happily buy it again

This copper slip is quality it gives good protection where it’s is applied I bought the small quantity tube because I don’t need the large tub at the moment. Also a good heat resistant product Buy and try it it’s great.
