Magnesium = Optimal functioning, less anxiety & racing thoughts, and relaxes tense muscles. Thumbs Up.
I'm a HUGE magnesium fan and highly recommend the book, The Magnesium Miracle. SO many "issues" we have are related to a deficiency in magnesium. I learned way too late that antacid prescriptions OR the "purple pill" inhibit the absorption of magnesium and attribute to osteoporosis. The happened to a family member as a result of taking a very strong prescription for a long time. I was able to get them to take a magnesium pill simultaneously when taking their antacid prescription pill that their doctor said they MUST take. Also, I've learned that magnesium helps to calm people so their anxiety lessens or their thoughts at night chill out some so they can lumber to sleep more easily. A family member was having high anxiety such that she couldn't sleep. We recommended a magnesium pill at night and she now sleeps soundly AND has minimal to no anxiety in the daytime. Oh yeah, magnesium also relaxes your muscles so one feels less stressed AND helps to reduce hypertension. HIGHLY recommend....and don't forget the Magnesium Miracle.

Nothing Short of a Miracle - Really! Amazing Stuff - and I Don't Use That Word Lightly!
Folks, I am not the kind of person that shouts from the rooftops when I've found something great. Having said that, if I was that kind of person, I would be shouting from every rooftop I could find, because this supplement has made an unbelievable change in my life. I have been suffering from extreme anxiety, depression, fatigue, muscle aches and pains - it was BAD. I read about magnesium glycinate being a possible solution for mood problems, so I ordered this supplement. I took one tablet on Wednesday night, and when I woke up I felt literally like a different person. My "internal shakes" were gone, and so was my anxiety, for the most part. I immediately decided this could not be possible from one pill, but I have been taking one tablet in the morning and one at night since 3/29, and my life has gotten SO much better. I've done some research on magnesium deficiency since then, and evidently it's a "silent epidemic" in America, mainly due to diet/food supply. Whatever. I am just so very pleased at how much better I feel - and my new attitude towards life! - that I would say that I recommend this supplement to anyone, especially if you have anxiety. I was on Klonopin for it, and it wasn't helping much at all. I have basically quit taking my Klonopin (am tapering down), and I am hoping I don't need it any more. Please, do yourself a favor and get some of these magnesium supplements. You WILL feel better, I promise. I have also read that using magnesium flakes in a foot bath or skin spray, or magnesium oil, is also an excellent way to get this mineral. These are all available on Amazon as well. I plan on looking for some magnesium oil to send to my mom as soon as I get done with this review. You NEED THIS SUPPLEMENT! And no, I didn't get any free product and/or discount for my review. Just a newly rejuvenated outlook on life - and at 64 years of age, I'll take it!

Multiple Benefits! I'm in Love!
Love, love, LOVE this! I have terrible anxiety and panic disorder. And I've done so much research on how to fight it naturally.Well I read a lot about how a deficiency in Vitamin D can increase anxiety (I fit all the symptoms from lacking it). So I started taking 5,000 IU softgels of vitamin D per day.And it was helping, but then I read that Vitamin D needs extra magnesium in your body to function/work effectively. So I started looking more into Magnesium, and saw that Magnesium deficiency can also cause anxiousness. And that 75% of the population has a magnesium deficiency without even realizing it!So I did all my research on different types of Magnesium and found this gem. It was suggested to be the best form to try specifically for anxiety.I have been living in a hellhole of a nightmare with my panic disorder so I was willing to try just about anything.This is the first Magnesium supplement I researched, read the reviews was sold on it instantly. Gave it a go, and I am 100% convinced that this is helping. Not only with my anxiety and helping my Vitamin D work better, but it also helps me sleep (which I am a chronic Insomniac btw). I take two of these at night, so the full 400mg dose.*I also pair it with one 200mg capsule of L-Theanine, the perfect stack to help sleep and take the edge of your nerves.*It takes roughly about an hour before I start to feel the slight calming effects.Even on nights it still takes me hours to fall asleep, when eventually I do, I pretty stay asleep now. I don't have as many dreams, or wake up multiple times in the night. I don't feel groggy at all when I wake up, and I actually feel refreshed.My body definitely needed this. And I most likely won't ever come off of it. I stay calm pretty much throughout the day now. Almost never does it boil over into a panic attack, even when I feel anxiety coming on. So grateful it's helped a bit.I highly recommend trying it!!

The glycinate form is one of the best magnesium supplements
I've tried other kinds with varying experiences from so-so (magnesium aspartate and citrate) to...er....explosive (magnesium oxide. DO NOT TAKE THIS if you have a sensitive stomach or are prone to diarrhea!).When I take 200 mg of magnesium glycinate at bedtime it causes a pleasant sleepy feeling with no stomach issues. I wouldn't recommend taking it during the day unless you're feeling very stressed and/or are magnesium-deficient. Note that one tablet is 200 mg, not 400 mg.The tablet is big but easy to swallow. However it would warrant a five-star review if it came in capsule form.
