If your wondering if this works with a LGA-1155 socket (H2 Socket) your answer is yes it does. Its compatible with Intel- LGA 1150, 1155, 1156, 1366, and 2011 and AMD sockets- AM2, AM3 and FM1. Personally i would recommend checking into the H100i if your case has the room and you can spend $45 more, on the silent setting you can't even hear it running and you can always boost the fan speeds for more strenuous work. It keeps my AMD 965BE (oc 4.0ghz) 40c and below even running a full 48 hour stress test. Non the less these Hydro series CPU cooling systems work great for the price and simplicity of installation.

Yes. I have the AMD FX 6200 and it works great. How it works will likely depend on how the socket connectors are but this will definitely work.

AMD uses the same mounting mechanism for all AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, FM1, FM2 and FM2+ motherboards... These coolers replace the default mounting bracket with a custom one which only uses the 4 mounting holes in the motherboard which will be at identical places for all of the above platforms. The only consumer AMD socket you need to be careful with at this point is the newer AM1 socket, which just has two holes on the opposite corners of the socket for mounting... As far as I know, there's no 3rd party coolers for these yet!Corsair's Web site doesn't specifically mention FM2 or FM2+ support, but it does mention FM1 support, and there's definitely no difference between the mounting mechanism in FM1 and FM2/FM2+ (http://www.corsair.com/en/hydro-series-h55-quiet-cpu-cooler).The Newegg.com page for this cooler does mention FM2 support explicitly (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181029).Several reviews from trustworthy sources indicate that it works with FM1/2 boards as well (http://www.hardocp.com/article/2012/12/03/new_corsair_h60_h55_cpu_liquid_coolers_review/2#.U3u7HukU_mQ).

Q: Will this work with 1151 motherboards?

I am using this on my Asrock Z-390 (socket 1151) itx mb after I started having overheating problems in my Coolermaster Elite 130. It has brought my temps down considerably.
