WARN 100725 Winch Accessory: Epic 1.5" Fairlead, Gunmetal

Got this fairlead installed over the weekend along with a synthetic winch cable. I considered several other options including the Factor 55 unit but decided to go with this one because I liked the looks and reviews of it, as well as my winch being Warn brand so it seemed fitting. The finish on this piece looks fantastic out of the box. Install was as easy as could be with my ARB bumper. My initial impressions are very positive for it. After some use, we'll see how it holds up. Based on over look, feel, and initial quality, I would recommend it.

This is nice and beefy, it’s almost gonna be shame to start using it and getting it scuffed up. Right now, it’s the shiniest thing on my Jeep.

A little pricey for a fairlead but i'm glad I went with this one. Fit and finish is beautiful, bolted up perfectly with the included hardware and thats pretty much everything. I installed this on a Jeep TJ with a Warn M8000-S, I would say this fairlead compliments it nicely!

This is Warns answer to the factor 55 1.5” type III anodized hawse fairlead which was my first choice but the Factor 55 would not fit on my Rokmen Merc bumper. I have had both in my hands and prefer the Factor 55 for a couple reasons. The Warn is made in China unlike the F55 which is made in the US. I also like to support a company that pioneers an idea over an imitator and last but not least I didn’t want a Warn fairlead for my Superwinch winch. There are some things the Warn has over the F55 and one of them is weight. I didn’t actually weigh both but Warn hollowed out the backside to trim weight and it feels lighter than the F55. You also have 3 color choices with the Warn and the F55 is gunmetal only and last but not least the Warn is not as wide as the F55 which is the only reason I went with the Warn. It is the best hawse fairlead that will fit my bumper. This fairlead is very nice and I and it fits on my bumper. It is the second best option IMO so if you want a part that was made by people that make pennies for their labor, have a Warn winch or have a bumper that won’t work with a F55 buy it. You won’t be disappointed. If you want to have the original 1.5”, type III anodized hawse fairlead, support American labor and a company that isn’t making higher profits off the backs of underpaid slave labor, and have the width to accommodate it go with the F55.

Installed it on my Jeep Wrangler JLU and it looks so much better than a silver colored fairlead.

I bought this to replace my original Warn fairlead because the original one started to disintegrate. I have had this on for a bit now and haven't seen any deterioration, so I have my fingers crossed that the quality will hold up, because I am constantly out in the woods beating on my TACO and don't want my winch line to become frayed and break when in the middle of using it.

I don't have a winch but I wanted this for my bumper cause it looks cool. Happy with the purchase.

Chunky version of the fairlead, replacing one that had the surface chipped, and the aluminium started corroding all around the opening. Hope this one fares better! Looks great.

It’s Warn so what more needs to be said. I really like their Gunmetal grey. All in all, awesome fairlead for synthetic rope.
