Great while it worked
I live on a canal in St Petersburg, FL and the light was really great at attracting fish. I saw mostly smaller fish but once in a while it attracted larger fish like snook; the highlight was the dolphin that played and eventually ate some of the smaller fish (see video). I used to go to the dock each night and throw bread pieces to the little fish which was really fun and relaxing. One of the downsides of this light (which I knew when I bought it) was that you'd have to take the light out of the water every few weeks and take the barnacles and slime off of the light. Unfortunately, about 6 months after I bought the light, it stopped working. For the price, a 6-month light just is not worth it. I'm now looking at alternate brands of fish lights because I really enjoy the fish they attract. Edit: I contacted the company even though the warranty had just expired, and he said he is sending a new light even though it is just out of warranty. Fantastic customer service.

Lasted one year.
The light was awesome, saw lots of giant fish. Used periodically to check what is running. Fished it a couple of times but either the fish were already full, or the lure would be so bright it would spook the fish. Bought in Jan 23, and by March 24 after using it about two dozen nights it stopped working. If I jiggle the cable going into it, it will flash but not stay on. I live on my boat and several other people in my marina purchased them also, with nice results. I guess I'll see if theirs last more than a year. Disappointed... I'm on the fence on whether to buy another one or not, because it is a great tool prior to going out fishing. Bay Point Marina, Norfolk VA.

Works but buy the extended warranty/insurance.
So far so good on this one; previous purchase lasted about 14 months with zero customer support for repair. Transformer failed plus slow water incursion causes a short. Latest purchase is < 1 yr old and still works well. I recommend buying the insurance on this product as the odds are high for failure within 1-3 years. Light is fairly bright.

Get ready to catch some fish !!!
My neighbor has one and it works so I had to get one. Impressive durability and great value. Super brightness and easy to use.

Broke in less than a year and no response from the seller.
We’ve bought 2 of these in less than 3 years, we’ve kept Vaseline on them to help control barnacles. They’ve only been on for 2-4 hours per night and the last one stopped working about 6 months after we purchased it. We messaged the seller on Amazon and directly and never got a response at all. Very disappointing! These aren’t cheap and should last longer than the warranty!

It’s not made for resting on the bottom.
It is real green and bright. It does not draw much electricity. Works really well

Worked great until it didn't. No customer support response. Don't leave me hanging bro.
The light worked beautifully for exactly 2 years and then began flickering and shutting down. Because it has a hot spot in the middle it's most likely a diode that overheated in the heavy coated light. It's advertised as heavy duty and with LEDs I would have expected it to last longer. I asked the manufacturer for some troubleshooting advice through their website portal but never received a reply. A quick check with AI and apparently they have a reputation of ignoring customer support emails. So, l just purchased a replacement with an aluminum body for better heat displacement. We'll see. (You folks should reply to customer inquiries).

Quality Product and Impeccable Customer Service and Loyalty
I bought two 15,000 Lumen Green Blob OutdoorNew Underwater Fishing Lights in March 2020. "Made in Texas" and "4.5 Star rating" were the reason I purchased them over the competitors. They are OUTSTANDING. As you can see from the pictures, I've got fish on them and they are very bright. My dock spans 200 yards from my house and you can see my Green Blobs even in the moon light. They are on a 12-hour timer. I frequently have angler come by boat to fish around my dock. To keep them from catching my power cord, I filled a five-gallon bucket with concrete and inserted a vertical 1 1/4" PVC pipe which each light slides over. Now my cords lay flat on the bottom and lights secured from swinging with the waves. Last month I noticed both lights begin to "strobe" every ten-fifteen minutes. I contacted Green Blob Outdoors Store through Amazon. The owner, Mark, personally returned my call a few days later. He said the power supplies were bad and he would send replacements along with instructions. Mark sent me exactly what I needed to get my lights back into the water--no questions asked. I really appreciate that kind of customer service. Mark and his Made in Texas company has a loyal customer for life. Thank you and Semper Fi, Captain Rob
